"it's best that you close up the shop for a couple days, since we need to search this area to find what exactly happened." the man in the police suit suggested. the coffee shop manager nodded. as he looked up at jaemin and jisung, stress evident in his eyes, he shooed them both off, hinting they should leave for the day. so, they left.
jaemin took a walk home, after their manager shooed them off. it's that time of day: the sun is in the middle of the earth, mainly the warmest time of day. people are minding their own business, some are laughing, some kids are playing around. he decided he should just go home and rest. studying is the last thing on his mind and the whole robbery situation itself drained him.

the barista took a seat on the couch, exactly in between the crack of the first and second cushion. he was about to turn on netflix to binge watch some show donghyuck told him about, some sappy korean drama. when pressing the button to turn on the tv, a picture of a coffee shop appears. as jaemin leans towards and squints his eyes to get a better look, he realizes it's the coffee shop jaemin works at.
"there has been a robbery at the coffee shop in seoul. earlier this morning, two employees reported the incident. according to some surveillance footage, the reported time was approximately 12 am this morning. we have no reports on who committed the crime..." jaemin drowns out the reporters voice, as a vibration from his back pocket erupts. he reaches behind to receive a text from jisung.
