The Mukami Idol and the Fragile Girl

Chapter One: First Impressions

  First Impressions meant everything to Kailey, so long as her own were spontaneous. Making sure to stay on those vampire's good side was all she could hope for, and pray for. She knew what could come if she angered any of the tall, handsome, and aggressive vampires she now lived with.

A yawn had slipped out of Kailey's mouth as she opened her eyes, her long, soft and fluffy golden-brown hair had fallen down past her shoulders as she sat up, her crystal blue eyes shining as she opened them with a second yawn. "...H-hn.. Huh?". What Kailey hadn't noticed until now was that her window was wide open, a cool breeze blowing into her room, sending chills down her spine. She held herself tightly as she got up out of her soft and comfy, red queen sized bed as she walked towards her window, going to close it until she smelt the beautiful roses from the garden that lay below in a bed before her window. She giggled to herself as she shut the window, walking towards her wardrobe as she put on a white button up shirt with a black skirt and brown ankle boots. She smiled as she went into her bathroom and brushed her teeth, then combing her hair. A soft sigh had left her mouth as she set down her comb, preparing herself to go downstairs and become face to face with the vampires.

As Kailey walked down the steps towards the main room, she heard laughing and yelling. She poked her head around the corner as she noticed a tall, slim man holding a book open and standing, staring down at two other men. "This.. this is Ruki Mukami.. the eldest", she had thought to herself. She looked at the other two boys, taken in the taller man's figure, noticing he had red velvet like hair, pulled back into a pony tail as he yelled at the other two boys... Something about sugar cubes. "..And he must be Yuma Mukami." she giggled softly as she turned her attention to the shortest, he had bandages and cuts all over himself. "..aww.. He's Azusa.. for sure..." she thought before realizing one was missing. Before she could even finish looking around the room, she felt hot breath blow past her neck and air. "Morning Mneko-Chan!". Kailey had squealed as she felt into the room, her skirt remaining to keep her covered as she hid fer face, her cheeks becoming tinted with a bright pink. "Hmph.. Nice of you to join us sow." Kailey scrunched up her nose after hearing this, helping herself up and she brushed off her skirt. She felt her face get hotter as she looked over at Ruki, noticing he was the only one not looking at her, his nose so deep in a book he could be swimming in it. She sighed to relax as she looked behind herself at...Kou.. that was his name. She quickly walked towards the couch and tripped over a shoe, squealing softly as she fell face first towards the ground. She placed her hands in front of herself and closed her eyes to catch herself, until she felt something grab her waist. She squealed and looked up to find him, Ruki Mukami, ignoring his book to catch her. "Hm.." she realized his face held such a blank expression as he made a questioning 'hm?' at her. Before she realized it, Yuma and Azusa were gone, leaving her alone with Ruki and Kou. She heard a faint sigh from Ruki as he helped her up, looking at her face blankly. She squealed slightly, her cheeks shading into a bright maroon as she swallowed back hard, stepping back and bumping into Kou's chest. She widened her eyes and kept looking at Ruki, who had a small smirk on his face. Before she knew what happened, her eyes were covered and moments later, felt something holding her down, feeling almost like a body was on her waist. When she could finally open her eyes, she looked up and found bright blue eyes, smiling softly down at her. She blushes again as she sat up, noticing the vampire gave her freedom to move. "W-where are we Kou..?" she asked innocently. "My room of course Mneko-Chan!" Kou said cheerfully. She looked around, noticing her hadn't owned a real mattress. She blushed hard as she leaned back into the wall behind his bed. "S..So why am I in her Kou?" she asked innocently a second time. That's when she heard a soft chuckle beside her ear. "You're sleeping here with me Mneko~Chan.." she heard his voice grow deeper, his whisper sending shivers and chills down her spine and throughout her body. Before she knew it, she was under his blankets, her back against him and his arm around her waist. "I can't wait to taste you tomorrow..." was the last thing Kailey heard before she fell asleep, her throat dry and her heart pounding loudly within her chest.
