Ok so as the name suggest Dipper is actually Bill's Son.
The story (useally) goes , so when Ford figures Bill's real plans he imprissons the Demon in the Mindscape. Then he realizes there is a Child in a Crib with a strange birthmark (hmm wonder what it is...) He picks up the child and gives Him to Mable's parents to raise them Like Twins. On Dipper 13th Birth day his powers unlock and Bill Find him...
That was a REALLY SHORT version of the basic story... I like the other half of the Transendence AU better personly...
