The Mysterious Light

As Jordan and Harley biked on the trail, they eventually reached the woods. Jordan's tires screeched as he came to a stop. Harley then stopped behind him. "What happened?" she asked. "Are you crazy? We can't go in there!" exclaimed Jordan. "Don't be a wuss. It's just the woods," said Harley. Jordan had always had a bad feeling about the woods ever since his father's disappearance. He had a theory that his father disappeared in the woods. But Harley was a daredevil, and Jordan knew that. He knew that she wasn't afraid to take risks. He wasn't going to try to argue with her. No one ever did. If Harley wants something to happen, it happens. "Fine," he said. "...We'll go through the woods." Harley nodded and started into the woods. Jordan nervously followed. He instantly regretted his choice. But, there was no going back; not with Harley. It was very dark in the woods. Jordan could hear the calls of the mischievous lurking creatures. He could see the mossy trees blocking their only light. The two came upon a hill. They biked up the hill, unaware of how steep it was. When they reached the peak, they both stopped. "No way," said Jordan. "Come on Jordan. Nothing is going to happen," said Harley as she started down the hill. Jordan listened and followed. As the two continued downhill, Harley noticed something in the distance. It was a gleam of light. It grew bigger as they approached. "What is that?!" she screamed as they drew closer and closer. Jordan then noticed the light. He yelled, unable to control his bike. "I can't stop!" shouted Harley, terrified. "I can't either! Oh my gosh!" Jordan yelled. They screamed in unison started to reach the light. They uncontrollably biked into the light, and fell through. It was as if the light scooped them up, or swallowed them. The light then disappeared, leaving their bikes in the middle of the woods.
