Morning came, I woke up and stretched in my bed. I usually get up pretty late which isn't a nice habit of mine. I usually wake up around 9 to 10, I better get going to my shop already.

As I was making my way to work, I saw him. I saw his face. He wasn't smiling but indeed he had the face where I could look at him all day, it reminded me of my first love in highschool back then. He used to like flowers too.
Did you know? Liliac represents first love, he was my liliac. But no way he'd be the one that I'm looking for. He's just a mere neighbor, we even havent have a proper conversation yet, I can't assure myself that it's him. Why am I getting my hopes up? Because I've never had anyone else after we've parted ways, well, I guess you could assume that I still like him, because I do. I really still do.

I sat down by the counter and stared into the air as I slowly fell asleep. Probably after a few hours later when the sun was shining really bright, I heard the bell on the upper part of the door ring. I just woke up so ny sight was blurry and a person came by and placed something on the counter table and said, "Here, I guess you're my new neighbor around this street. Congratulations on your opening." as he left, I rubbed my eyes and decided to go to the bathroom and wash my face. I'm assuming that it was that guy next door, I should treat him to some drink sometimes. I looked at my watch that wad clasped on my wrist as I saw the time. [ 12:19 ]
I guess I should go grab some lunch, I went on to the next store and walked up the counter.
Alright Aeri, let's just try to call him out by his name? Who knows it's really him, the guy that I've waited for, the guy I longed for, my first love, Jung Jaehyun.
I gathered up some courage and called him out, "Jaehyun?"
"Yes?" he looked at me and replied.
"Perhaps do you remember me?"
"Of course, my liliac." he smiled.
I smiled back at him and the silence grew between us. "What brings you here, Aeri?" he broke the silence, "Oh I was just here to-" but then a voice cut me off and said, "Hey! Jaehyun~" she was beautiful. I think I saw her somewhere too, but one thing for sure that she is a famous writer. Is she his girlfriend? sister? cousin? or what? I don't know and my curiosity seems to bother me so much. She gave Jaehyun a hug, they seem so close. "Aeri, meet my fiance!" he had a wide smile while looking at the girl. "I see... my name's Aeri. Nice to meet you." I extended out my hand to shake hands, she accepted it. "Thanks! My name's Joohyun, but you can call me Irene." she gave me a bright smile. "Oh right, you were saying something, right Aeri?" he turned to me. "Ah, I was just here to thank you for your welcome gift. Anyways, I'll get going now." I waved my hands at them and gave out a fake smile.

It was hard for me for me to see my liliac flower happier with a different girl. Don't you think a florist and a writer would match each other much better? I guess it's better off that way.
