3rd Person POV
It was a typical Winter Solstice meeting. The gods were arguing with each other again. The minor gods had been invited to the meeting a they always had since Zeus' decree in 2089. The campers of Camp Half-Blood had been invited too, plus the immortal campers, who consisted of Annabeth and the cabin leaders. Suddenly, Apollo's eyes started glowing an eerie green - the same colour as Rachel's when she spoke a prophecy. In a coarse, ancient voice, he said,
"One shall go west to the studio of ink,
She shall find a lead to a long broken link,
To find the place you need to be,
The letter of the creator is key."
There was a long pause. The throne room then broke into people yelling out. Finally, when everyone calmed down, Zeus slammed his master bolt in the ground. "Apollo, what does this mean?"
"I don't know! What did I say?" Apollo exclaimed.
"Well, if the fates saw fit to use Lord Apollo instead the Oracle, it must be important, Lord Zeus," Annabeth pointed out.
"So, what can we figure out now?" Athena asked, always hungry for knowledge.
"One shall go west to the studio of ink? Well, we know to go west, but what is this studio?" wondered Hermes.
"She shall find a lead to a long broken link? So, it had to be a female, but what is this link?" asked Artemis.
"I'm not sure. But the place you need to be? The letter of the creator? What does that mean?" Demeter questioned.
"Uh... I think I know," Everyone turned to face Annabeth, "Three days ago, I found a letter on my doorstep. It was addressed to my mortal father, but what other letter could it be? It also mentions a studio and old cartoons, which were drawn with ink."
Annabeth pulled out a letter and showed it to the crowd. It read:
Frederick!
It's me! Remember 30 years ago, when we used to work on cartoons together in the studio? Well, I have something I'd like to show you. Come to our old studio on TheDancingDemon street!
Your pal,
Joey Drew.
"Who's Joey Drew? I've been to TheDancingDemon street before, and I noticed a run down studio called Joey Drew Studios. Is Joey Drew the owner of the place? What does some old place that was long abandoned have to do with anything?" Edward fired off questions in rapid fire mode.
"I don't know. However, given that Annabeth is the appropriate gender, is one of our greatest heroes, and was the one who found the letter, I believe we should send her." Zeus thundered.
There was a general mummer of agreement.
"My daughter," Athena said cooly, "I shall flash you to Joey Drew Studios. However, before you go, take these."
Athena handed Annabeth a kind of camera. "These are the work of Hephaestus. They will allow us to see and hear everything you do. We can speak to you too, and give you guidance, but you will be the only person able to hear our voices."
Athena snapped her fingers, and the daughter of the wisdom goddess disappeared in a blinding flash.
