alright so, i need to address this. only because i feel like this needs a little bit more attention than it's getting

stop defending Chen and Wendy. they did wrong.

(chen is my bias and im literally triggered)

in case you don't know, chen made an ignorant comment about a black slave on a v-live and no one wants to address it

wendy made an ignorant joke/impersonation about black people and she's getting backlash for it

neither one of them are racist. it was just ignorance.

please note that racism is when you genuinely hate or dislike that race to the point where you attack that race

they're not doing that. they just "didn't know"

i can understand, i guess, that chen maybe didn't realize that it was offense

but i won't take that for wendy

she should know better. she grew up in canada. she should know

i feel as if it would be better if they both apologized but idk if that's even up to them

sm entertainment acts like they don't give a fuck about international fans so idk if it's them or what

but wendy needs to apologize and try to move past this because her wrong doings are effecting her group

chen needs to apologize because it was ignorant and he shouldn't have said that

anD STOP BRINGING NAMJOON INTO THIS. HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! HE MADE HIS MISTAKE WHEN HE WAS YOUNG AND APOLOGIZED IMMEDIATELY

HE DID EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO

and if you think black people are overreacting just remember this

this effects us deeply because back in the day, and now, those stereotypes and ignorant comments are what people used to tear us down

it's what people used to make black people feel like shit

it causes me physically pain to see
'black people overreact everything'

we have every right to do so

so stop defending them

stop throwing other idols under the bus to protect your faces

it just makes your fandom look stupid.

don't trash these idols, educate them, hope they learn from it and move on

but seriously, sis didn't apologize, doesn't seem like she's effected but i don't know what goes on behind her closed doors

stop defending chen, bro did wrong, he definitely doesn't seem effected because nO ONE IS BRING LIGHT ON HIS SITUATION

how am i supposed to forgive them if they didn't apologize? they didn't ask for my forgiveness so it seems like they don't care.

(not saying they don't care, it just will seem like that to a lot of people)
