Nicolas POV
I got out of bed and stretched. It was now ten and everybody was out the house except for me. Today was my off day so I decided to go to the gym. I walked into the closet and put on my shorts and a T-shirt. I put on my basketball shoes and grabbed my duffel bag.

  I pulled up into the parking lot and walked into the gym. A bunch of people were on the treadmills and bikes. I noticed that nobody was playing basketball, so I decided to lift weights instead. I put my headphones in and lifted some weights.

I finally arrived home three hours later and it was Destiny's lunch time in an hour. I turned on the shower and bathed myself. I let the hot water run down my body so I muscles could relax. I got out and put on jeans, a black tee, and some tennis shoes. I walked out the room and ran downstairs to get my keys. I walked into the garage and got into the truck to go see my baby for lunch.

I pulled up to her job and saw many people exiting the building, like they just finished a photo shoot. I walked inside and greeted familiar faces then made my way to Destinys office. I opened the door and her face lit up. She got up and hugged me before asking what I was doing there.

"Hey babe. What you doing here?"

"Hey, uh it's your lunch break and I wanted to see you."

"You trying to go eat?"

"Yea. Where NJ?"

"He's at ambers house ."

I nodded my head and grabbed her hand so we could go eat. I got in my car and she got into hers and we drove to canes.

  I got out the car and opened the door for Destiny. She walked inside the building and went inside the restroom. I decided to order for us. I got two chicken plates with fries and lemonades. I sighed then smiled once I saw Destiny come out. She walked over to me and kissed me. I handed her the drinks and she found a table by the window. I grabbed the food and walked over to the table.

    After the lunch date, Destiny went back to work and I decided to pick up Nj. I pulled up to ambers house and got out the car. I rung the doorbell and saw Jeremiah walk to the door. She opened the door and sighed.

"Yo thank god, these kids won't shut up."

"Man, How amber doing?"

"She's good."

"How's Jayla?"

"They good. They get out tomorrow."

"Oh ok that's good. Well I'll take Nicolas home so you can watch ya kids."

"Hey uncle nick." Jace greeted.

"Hey Jace. NJ let's go boy."

NJ walked over to the door with his backpack. I grabbed his hand and we got into the truck. I drove to the park around the corner and decided to let NJ play for a while. I sat on the bench and watched him until a running female came towards me.

  "Hey Nick."

"Hey madison."

"Where's destiny."

"She's working. I'm about to take my son home though."

"Oh ok well I'll text you later."

"NJ let's go."
