Chapter 2- The 1st Vote

(No one's P.O.V)
Taeyong and his friends were in the living room talking about Johnny's death. They couldn't believe that someone killed him, he was kind and innocent so who would want to kill him?

Jack entered the room and gave them Johnny's wallet, the only thing Johnny brought for the party. Taeyong opened the wallet and he saw a pic of him and Johnny, but Taeil, who was also looking at the wallet found something else, it was another note. He took the note and showed and told everyone about it.

"Another note?! Is somebody gonna die again?! Cause this is NOT cool, if this is a prank then hahaha we got pranked!" Doyoung angrily said.

Yuta calmed him down and let Taeil read the note loudly, for everyone to hear.

"Hello dear friends, It's me, Johnny...if you're reading this note then I'm already dead...that sucks...being in the middle for Chain was fun and I want to perform it more...anyways, yes I was poisoned...You're probably gonna be confused af but the poison didn't kill me...I know you're all smart enough to figure out how to get the 3 antidotes...but Something or perhaps, someone killed me. To avoid ending up like me I need to clear something up...Yes I am in a group, our group's purpose was to get rid of the evil in this house...when TY said that a party was being help here, I didn't hesitate to come, I thought I could get rid of it by myself...but it looks like it got rid of me first. The only way to survive is if you get the 5 artifacts hidden in this house, but to get one artifact, someone must die. Also, 4 among you are snakes, one of them is a killer. Be careful on who you trust. Remember the clues. Look for more notes and clues, it'll help you. You only have until the sunrise of the 4th night or else all of you will die in the house, and no one will return back to 2018. But if someone survives and makes it back to 2018, all those who died here on 1920 will be brought back to life and everyone will be back to 2018 like nothing happened, if any of you makes it back...no one will remember this incident, we will be back to our normal NCT self. May luck be on your sides."

After Taeil read the note, he gave it back to Taeyong. Everyone went silent, not knowing what to do. But the silence was broken by Lucas.

"Wait did Taeil-hyung said that there were 4 snakes and one of them is a killer?!" Lucas said.

"Great so we need to survive, get some type of artifact, and avoid the snakes and killer! Jesus Christ..." Doyoung said.

"Great! Let's start by finding the artifacts! We never know where it could be so let's start!" Taeyong stood up and waited for the others to follow him but to no avail.

"Wait....how can we trust you? I mean you ARE the one who invi-" Jisung got cut off when Sarah and Jack entered the room.

"I'm sorry that I eaves-dropped on your conversation, but I can help you find the artifacts, I know everything about this house..." Jack told the members.

"Really?! You can help us?! Thank you so much Jack" Taeyong said.

"But to get the artifact....someone will die..." Ten reminded them

"There are challenges to get the artifacts, 2 members must undergo that challenge, the one who loses, dies, but the one who wins not only survives but he'll come back with the artifact. I know no one wants to die, so we'll have a voting, whoever gets picked, will go with me where the artifact is." Jack said as he took off his hat.

Sarah took a table, placed it in front of Jack. Jack put his hat down and in front of the hat, there were pieces of paper and a pen. It looks like Jack was going to do a magic trick but he's not. It was for the voting.

"Please come here one by one and write your name and put it in the hat" Jack explained

"Let's go by age" Taeyong told the members.

They all agreed and Taeil stood up to vote. But is it really considered voting if you're gonna write your own name? After a few minutes, all the members have finished writing their own names and putting it on the hat. Jack lightly shook the hat so the papers would be scrambled. Jack took a piece of paper and read it out loud.

"Jaemin"

The members were shocked, specially the dreamies. Getting chosen means that there was a 50/50 chance that he's gonna die.

Jack drew another piece of paper

"Jeno"

2 members at NCT dream chosen...what were the chances of that.

"For this challenge I want you 2 to choose a partner" Jack informed the two.

"I want Doyoung Hyung!" Jaemin immediately picked Doyoung

"Uh...I guess I'll pick Taeil-hyung" Jeno said, unsure of his choice.

Before leaving, all the members went for a group hug. They then went to sit down except for NCT Dream who was still hugging each other. But the hug didn't last that long because they had to collect the artifact.

Jack nodded at the two and went outside while Jeno and Jaemin with their partners followed after him.

(TIMESKIP)

"Here we are" Jack said

Jeno and Jaemin stopped and looked at what they were dealing with...It looks like a torture chamber.

"Ok Jeno and Jaemin will go into one of the compartments, meanwhile Doyoung and Taeil will try to get you out of there. Whoever gets their compartment open first, will win." Jack explained and put everyone to their position.

"You may now start"

(10 minutes later)

Doyoung and Taeil was struggling with the controls and mechanics. Jeno and Jaemin were both scared, they didn't want to die early.

Doyoung was ahead of Taeil, he had advantage because he was taller than Taeil. But Taeil was catching up, he knew what he had to do....But it was too late...Doyoung had opened Jaemin's compartment and saved him while Jeno's compartment was filled with black gas that killed him. Jaemin ran next to the stairs and opened a chest and got the artifact. But he looked back to Jeno's compartment...He couldn't believe that his friend died...He went near to Jeno's compartment.

"I promise that everyone's going to survive, and we'll be back on 2018 and once we're back..I'll promise i'll treat you to that restaurant you always wanted to eat at. We can invite all of the members. I'm sorry Jeno" Jaemin whispered while teary-eyed.

"Jaemin...we have to go back" Doyoung told Jaemin, feeling sorry for both.

Jaemin nods and goes back to the living room with Jack,Doyoung, and Taeil.
