I Finally Wake Up...
As I wake up, I found myself somehow in a waft. The cage was floating? This is weird. I have never seen something like this. Is this a dream? Is this a nightmare? Is this my end? I haven't been here long, and this seems confusing. I Have Never Seen Such A Weird Dimension That Is Like Earth, But With Floating Cages, In My Life! I Stop To Lay For A Second, Then Sit Up. I Contemplate On What Will Happen, And Why I Am Still In A Floating Cage.. It seems like... the future. I know that it's around the late 1980's, but NEVER HAVE I EVER seen something like this. As I am being taken down this long hallway, I hear a voice. "She's Awake. About Time."
It's them. They now know that I am awake. It's confusing why I am tied up, but I am in a cage.
Heh. They don't trust me...
I don't care.
Then, I am taken into a small room. It seems to be crowded. Most people look like scientists, about 1/5 of the room had the men in orange armor, and one person was in an orange suit. He seemed different from the other people in the room. He was like... a prisoner...
He's hurt. I can feel it...
This makes me feel like I'm having deja vu. Once the door opens to the room, everyone looks toward our direction. The prisoner hides behind a scientist. He's scared. I believe that he hates this place and these people like how I do. They must've tortured him. They must've taken him to these anomalies. They treat these people like... guinea pigs...
They treat EVERYONE like guinea pigs...
They must've taken over his mind by showing him what the nightmares, ghosts, and monsters under your bed are really like... I speak to myself. Then, I see another room ahead of me. It's a cell... with someone in it! He isn't normal though. He is...
He is SCP 049...
I stare at the masked man. He stares back, in confusion. I can hear him talk to himself.
"Well... what do you all have here, doctors?" He says in a calm, smooth voice.
"We have a new SCP. Her name is SCP 9999" the scientist says.
This scientist looks frail, his skin is pale, and his hair is a messy blond-brunette mix. It looks like he hasn't eaten, or slept in weeks. I feel bad. This world isn't all that nice. Not like how I knew it before. It seems like it's changing. Like my father is pulling the strings. Like how he is to me. Ah, yes. My father is in control.
IN CONTROL. I'M NOT ALONE ANYMORE...Er.... something isn't right.
I Know That These People Are Evil. They Just Won't Show It...
"I sense no disease in her..." I hear the masked man say. "That's because she's new here, sir. And Because she is an SCP..." I Realize that they are treating SCP 049 like he is part of their society...
"Umm... Hello? Can I Please Be Untied And Un-caged? I Feel Like A Zoo Animal."
I say, starting to feel uncomfortable by the ropes almost plunging into my skin.
Everyone turns to me like I just broke an expensive glass vase. "Strange... I didn't think that she can talk, like how the others are." he mumbles.
I stare at the creature's eyes. He stares back, making me feel uncomfortable. I start to have a headache and lose my line of sight on his eyes. "Very well Then." he says calmly, but deeply. "Untie Her, D-9341." The scientist says to the harmless prisoner. He walks over to the cage I'm in, immediately removing the ropes off of me. "Thank You Sir." I say harmlessly, not wanting to frighten the faltered man. He nods.
"SCP 9999-A, Please Enter The Containment Chamber Of SCP 049." A Security Guard tells me, almost yelling. I slowly walk over to the dark grey door with the "Secure, Contain, Protect" Logo on it. The door opens, revealing the somehow crowded room. SCP 049 immediately walks over to me, examining my whole body. He is a doctor. He knows what to do... I hope. He stares back at the crowd. "Begin Test." I hear in the intercom. The man sits in a chair, and offers me a seat across from the miniature table. We sit silently for a few minutes, only making eye contact. In his silver eyes, I can see his past, present, and future.
"Please Communicate. We are getting bored." The scientist says, almost concerned. I don't know what to say. I can only think of my reaction at the helicopter... and my parents.
No... don't think of the past. Think of the future, if I will have one...
SCP 049 starts to speak. "I... have never seen a human-SCP hybrid before..." almost hesitating after every word. "I'm not even sure if I am like you guys..." I say, trying to act calm. His voice seems to calm me down more than even being... ALONE...
I Do Not Know What To Say, So I Speak In My Native Tongue.
"私は退屈です。あなたは何をしたいですか、友達ですか?"
( "I'm Bored. What Do You Want To Do, Friend?" )
Then, Everyone Looks At Me In A Leery Way.
"Please Speak English Ma'am." The frail scientist mumbles in the microphone.
I nod silently and resume staring into the kind man's eyes. He Then Speaks In My Native Tongue.
"Do 質問をしない、唯一次のルール "。
( "Do Not Ask Questions, Only Follow Their Rules..." )
I nod, understanding what he says.
The scientist rolls his eyes and continues on. Then, I Hear "Begin Test Two. Make Contact With Each Other." Losing His Eyes, He Stands Up And Walks Toward Me. I silently breathe deeply like someone has dragged me out of a pool because I cannot swim. I try my hardest not to act faltered, because I don't want this "disease" to harm me. I lose the butterflies in my stomach, and stand up. All of a sudden, I feel a cold fabric touch my neck. This doctor is examining me. He gently grabs my arm, and checks my pulse. "Huh?!" I hear him silently scream, covering his mouth through his mask. "No Pulse.... But You Are Alive And Breathing." I start to feel faltered once again. He suddenly shakes his head vigorously, almost flicking his mask off, then continues this test. He checks my heartbeat, breathing, eyesight, and my throat.
"All Good, Gentlemen." He turns his head to the crowd, then back to me. He writes his results in a small notepad. "You Are Perfect For The Facility." he whispers, smiling beneath his mask.
