I wake up and sit at my desk and go on my laptop, I had an email.

I actually live in town, I'm going to the halloween party tonight and dressing up as a cat. Are you going too?

I didn't know what I was dressing up as but I am definitely going now, I get up and go downstairs to eat breakfast, emailing gray back of course.

Yeah I'm going, I'm not sure what I'm dressing up as though, got any ideas?

I sit at the table, my parents giving me a weird look. "What." They continue staring at me, did they find out somehow? OH MY GOD I FORGOT ABOUT NICK! "Did you find out?"They laugh and stop staring, I look at them in confusion. "Find out what? We were just kidding around." My mom says, shit, now I'm stuck. "Uh, Nothing, you know I should really be getting ready for that party tonight, see ya!" I say, I get up from the table and run upstairs to my room, I had gotten an email.

Cool! Hope we spot each other, just look for bright blonde hair, and for costume ideas, maybe you could be a cat with me :)

I read the email one more time before responding, bright blonde hair... just like the boy who was staring at me yesterday in class... now that definitely makes me think that it's him. And I guess I'm being a cat, I don't mind though.

I hope we spot each other too, look for an emo kid with sparkling gray eyes, they're my best feature, and I'll be a cat with you. See you there!

I send the email, looking at it afterwards, I get to the bottom and see that I put love instead of from...how stupid can I get? I close my laptop and throw my head in my hands, well now he knows I like him...which maybe isn't a bad thing. I'm probably overreacting and he's rubbing it off as an accident but who knows. I get ready for the halloween party, I put on a black shirt and black pants, heading to my sister's room.
"Hey do you have a headband I can barrow?"
She looks at me like I have 12 heads.
"It's for a Halloween costume. I'm being a cat."
She goes into her desk drawer and pulls out a black headband.
"Here, do you need a tail too?"
I roll my eyes.
"No but thanks. See ya later!"
I tape little paper triangles onto the headband and grab my phone, I then leave to Amber's

TIME PASSES

It's been a couple hours since we got to the party and I still haven't spotted a cat, at least a boy cat, it may be because I have alcohol in me but I'm trying. "Hey! Emo kid with gray eyes?" A boy with blonde hair comes up to me, I smile. "Yeah, blonde hair?" I say, he looks at me, signaling to go outside. "Are you sunshine?" He asks, I cover my mouth in excitement. "Yeah and you must be gray." I say, he nods, he hugs me without warning, I hug him back and we stay there for a long time, them look into each other's eyes. "Come with me." I take his hand and go to where ever he's taking me. After a little bit of walking we stop in a parking lot with one car, he pulls out a cigarette and looks at me. "Light my cigarette?" He asks smiling, I take the lighter and light it. My phone goes off, it was my parents.

Hey C where are you? It's getting late.

He looks at my phone and then at me. "Just tell them you're staying a little longer." I text him back and put my phone away. "Let's hop the fence and walk around, it's my favorite hideaway." He says, I smile and he hops it, I follow, not knowing what I'm getting into, but I'm ok with it. "By the way, my name is Sam." All I can do is smile at him. He sits down and stares at me, his eyes leading themselves to my lips, mine go to his soon after. The tension rose and I could already feel his kiss, we get close enough and he gently lies his hand on my face, oh my god he's kissing me... I let myself melt into his touch until I can't feel anything but the kiss. We're now making out and all I can think is, strawberries and cigarettes.
