A\N picture is of Becca!

Becca immediately loops her arm around my own and pulls me towards the cafeteria. Waiting in line for lunch, I watch her inspect the different groups of people in the caf. She finally turns back to me and asks where I usually sit.
"Um, well you see, the thing is, is that I usually just sit in the hallway and eat lunch. I mean it's really crowded in here and I don't really have any people that I'd actually want to spend time with so..."
She flashes a smile and replies, "Well now you do!"
With that, we carry our lunch trays and she leads us to the only empty table left in the cafeteria. I pick at my unappealing lunch tray and almost forget that she's there until she shakes me out of my own little world by waving her hand in front of my face.
"Hello? Earth to Lyssa!" She huffs when I finally blink and stare back at her.
"I was saying, what are you doing after school today? Maybe you could show me around?"
"Oh, I've got work."
I smiled grateful that I was able to convince Ash to let me come back to work. There was no way in hell I was going to go straight home and hang around unemployed Darren.
"Oh, where do you work?"
"I work at an auto shop near by," I say returning to picking at my green beans.
"What? You don't strike me as a mechanic," she says giving me a puzzled look.
I laugh at her expression and she smiles back suddenly lightening my mood.
"'I'm the desk secretary."
"Oh...that makes so much more sense."
A comfortable silence falls between us before her eyebrows shoot up and she bounces in her seat. She squeezes my wrist in excitement and I cringe inside from the pain.
"Oh my god, wait, this means you get to hang around a bunch of sexy hot guys fixing cars! Can I come?"
She eagerly awaits my response completely oblivious to the stares she's receiving from her sudden outburst, or the fact that my eyes are watering from the pain.
"Sure, why not."
"Perfect! I'll drive!"
The rest of lunch goes by quickly as I listen to her babble about why she moved here and how much she hates her younger brother for being such a pest. Basically, her dad got a promotion at the tech company he works at and got transferred here.
We agreed to meet at my locker after last period, the one class we don't both have. I'm shoving things in my locker when someone tugs on my wrist. I hiss in pain and pull my arm back.
I turn to face Ryder's green eyes and concerned expression.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you," he says sincerely.
"Whatever. It's fine." I try to remain calm but the look he's giving me is making my stomach do flips.
He expression changes into his usual cocky smirk and he leans up against the locker next to mine. After winking at some girls waving at him across the hall, he turns towards me.
He flicks his gaze from my wrist to my eyes and his smirk widens.
"Oh, so you like it kinky don't ya?"
My cheeks burn from anger and embarrassment as he winks at me and shoves himself off the lockers walking away.
I slam my locker shut and almost butt heads with Becca.
