Tuesday early morning, the school year was half way through and Ian Thompson was waking up to the sound of his alarm clock chiming at 6:30 am to get him up, he did struggle a bit this morning. He laid in bed looking up at the ceiling wiping his tired eyes not wanting to leave his warm bed on such a cold Spring day, but alas he had to get up. He stopped his alarm clock getting out of his bed in pastel pink shorts and an old beat up t-shirt doing his toiletries, brushing his teeth and mainly getting ready. Ian never ate in the morning, it made him nauseous on the bus ride to school however, he did always pack fruit snacks and smaller snacking items in his bag decorated with things the more popular kids at his school would like on the outside, but inside? It looked like a galaxy was hiding out in his bag. So many little star ornaments and planets drawn in glow in the dark marker inside, he smiled at it as he threw in four packets of fruit snacks in for himself and a small snack bag of crackers to hold him over until lunch at least.

He threw on his pink feathery over coat, putting on a nice ombre blush that got darker under his eyes, dotting his fair and blushed up cheeks with white eyeliner to make it look his cheeks had star shaped freckles. He smiled afterwards, putting on his normal black eyeliner for his eyes "Ferocious." He said while applying dark lipstick and putting in his red eye contacts as was his forte for his every day look, pale albino star child he called it to his room mate. Ian put on his normal wedge heeled boots, grabbed his keys and his bag rushing out locking the door behind him, but he did wish he put on a hat it was cold out, and after all, he was nearly bald, his hair dyed a pure virgin snow white and then given a nice buzz cut. Ian was non-binary and flaunted it proudly being one of the only four people in school that were out and proud about it, he was androgynous and loved to dress himself up like he was out of this world.

He waited at the bus stop, phone already in his pocket with his earbuds he sat on the steps of the old abandoned house where his bus always stopped at for him, he made it out a little earlier today so he had time to chill and think about today. He got comfortable thinking to himself "Did I remember to ask Tyler for an invite to his house party? Shit, I can't remember." He thought quite positive he did but thought to make sure once he saw him. Slowly the yellow bus lurched around the corner and he stood up waiting for it to stop before he hopped on sitting beside one of the girls that was considered a gray to people like him, a dull normal person who loved the normal trends of today unlike himself who loved Astrology and anything that had to do with the study of stars. The girl looked over him grinning "No rings today Ian?" She asked playfully teasing him over it, Ian groaned "Fuck, I left them on the damn kitchen sink!"He rolled his eyes clicking his tongue "It's whatever Sadie I'm over it." He said bringing out his phone clocking the time, not only was he early but the bus was too today, odd much?

Sadie laughed at him "Good going genius." she peeked at his phone "Is that a starry background?" She asked him curiously having never seen his phone's screen while turned on before "Oh my god Sadie get off my back." He laughed covering his mouth as he turned off his phone with his other hand shoving it back in his pocket, "No it's cool. It's one of those Aesthetic things right?" She asked getting her bag off the floor to retrieve her phone. Ian nodded mainly not paying attention to her, she was a cunt to pretty much anyone but himself, Tyler and the entirety of the football team, another thought crossed his mind "I have science today, I can kinda remember something about a project. Did I do it though? Shit did I pack it in my bag? Or are we being assigned it today?" A small look of panic came across his face snapping back to reality when Sadie asked "Are you okay?" Ian forgot to brace himself and slammed forward into the seat from the bus lurching and frequent unnecessary stops, "I- Yeah I'm fine hah, just a little off today you know? Like 4 hours of sleep." He said watching a ginger get on the bus, she was a tall girl, mainly under weight and he knew how much she loved flannel, she'd come to school wearing it during the final summer days, "Nice flannel Zigretski!" Sadie chortled watching Eivør whip her head around when she sat down three seats behind them "I don't want your shit today." She said crossing her arms and scooting over, "Aww what's the matter? If you can't take it don't dish it bitch." She hissed watching as Eivør threw her hands up "You started it though! And god close your legs, I can smell your chlamydia stewed cunt from here." She saw Ian turn around his jaw dropped, an expression of pure joy on his face as he was trying not to laugh for Sadie's sake, "Who told you that?" Ian asked tapping his black fake nails on the back of his seat, Sadie sitting beside him flabbergasted and red faced as Eivør yelled it for five other students to hear, someone in the back yelling "Oh shit!" "Nadia told me after Sadie told her." Ian pointed at her and made the gesture for 'You and I are going to be best friends now.' Sitting back down quietly trying to soothe Sadie before she threw herself at someone on the bus or getting on.
