Get Dressed We Need to Leave

It was a warm August day. Again with the geese "SHUT UP" I think but don't have the effort nor the energy to say. I got up to see my sister bright eyed and bushy tailed awake watching T.V. so I joined her

My nana came over every other day to check on us, since our mother had to work and now my brother was at his first day of college. She usually stayed till lunch and make us something to eat and then leave.

It was about 11:45 when the phone rang and my nana answered it. We didn't think much of it but as soon as she yelled "Kids get dressed and ready, your brother was in an accident and we're going to the hospital" I sprung up all ready crying and running to my room, I don't think i've gotten up so quick in my life, I ran upstairs and my sister was in my moms room with Nana. Neither of us knew anything really except our Nana so we tried listening to my Mom talk.
