Chapter 13

Belly's POV

Whoa. Some serious stuff had just gone down. I heard the expolsion of quarrels loud and clear.

"Uhhhh, I'm gonna go." said Julia as she shifted awkwardly down the hall. My mom soon followed, giving me a quick kiss on the forehead.

Great. Now I was alone.

I was exhausted so I went back under to take a nap.

(Later)

I was awoken by the sound of gentle knocking on my open door.

"Can I come in?" asked Niall.

I quickly fixed my hair and wiped the drool from my mouth. "Sure." I said cooly.

"So," he started sitting on the chair next to my hospital bed. "How are you?"

"I'm good, still a little sore, but good, I guess." I said uncomfortably.

"That's great." he replied with a huge smile across his face.

There were a few moments of awkward silence. I finally confessed, " You know, you didn't have to save me. I mean I know you guys do charity work and stuff-"

"What's this got to do with charity, love? I saved you 'cuz I could tell you needed it. Not because of a publicity stunt." He interuptted. He looked a little hurt.

"Oh I'm sorry I just thought- " I said.

"Its fine, I understand why you'd think that." he said cooly.

I smiled, maybe a little to much.

My personal nurse, Ariel came in. She was the closest thing to a human pixie. She had spiky gingery hair. She was really short, shorter than Julia, with hazel eyes. She was about my age, probably a little older.

"Hey, hon, how'ya doing?" She cooed sweetly. She always knew how to make me feel better.

"I'm good." I half smiled.

Niall got up. "Well, love, I have to be going now. You seem to be in good hand." He leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. "Check your phone," he said smiling.

"Bye," I said gently as he passed Ariel in the doorway.

As soon as he left I literally threw myself at my phone. I pressed the home button.

"Who is that?" Ariel asked smirking.

I completely ignored her and read my text messages.

First Message: Nialler

OMG! HE PUT HIS NUMBER IN MY PHONE!

Nialler- Hey, love. I'm sorry to say that I can't see you tommorow. But, don't worry, I'm sending Louis to cheer you up. He is really excited to see you :) Xx.

Second Message: Boo Bear

Boo Bear- Hey, Belly. I'm so excited to see you, love. See you soon. Btw. Do you like Gummy Worms?

OMG! LOUIS PUT HIS NUMBER IN HERE TOO!

I replied almost immediately.

B- Yeah, Gummy Worms are my fav. ;)

"What is going on?" Ariel kinda yelled.

"One Direction." I replied.

"Ohhhhh." she laughed. "Do you want me to come back later?" She gestured to the door.

"Uhhh, can you come back tommorow?" I asked gently.

She laughed again, "Sure, sweet pea, see you tommorow."

As soon as she left, I threw myself at my phone again.
