2148, 22nd Century Japan

"Time Travel? I thought that was only in movies!" (Y/n) (L/n) gushed as she followed her mentor through a bunch of halls. They were in a secret organizations hideout that was hiding stolen government technology, some of it being able to send people back or forward in time.

"Yes," Jon uttered cautiously while checking around for any agents. "It was. Until the government decided they should change that and created the monstrosity around 37 years ago." (Y/n)'s eyes widened when it was confirmed and they entered the room that held such a thing.

In front of them was a giant laser beam-esque machine with a control panel outside of it. "My life is complete. It's so cool!" (Y/n) rambled, oblivious to the people hidden away. Jon looked around the large room they were in and his eyes landed on containment's that held many different beings that all had the same technology latched onto their backs.

When he turned back to tell his protégée, she was inside the machine and directly under the beam. "(Y/n), get out of there!" Jon called but it was few seconds too late as the people came out of hiding. (Y/n) looked over at her mentor before feeling herself get pushed roughly, a stinging sensation on her nape.

She sunk to her knees as it became a burning feeling all over her body. Her fists clenched and her eyes shut, pain overpowering her mind and body. "(Y/n)! You have to move before it's fully powered!" Jon warned but (Y/n) couldn't hear him over her heart beating faster.

In a burst of light, her body was enveloped in a bright white flash leaving nothing but an empty place where she once was.

As Aizawa said in 'Glitches', Time Travel was next and this is the product. Unlike my other story, I'm going to try and actually follow the anime storyline but things might change like usual.
