"He...He's dead." (Y/n) whispered as she stood over the body of someone blurry, lips trembling from the cold. Rain poured over her face while she stared at the blood pooling around the person.

"Get out of here before it collapses!" Mari shouted over the sound of gushing water and pieces of building that fell. Blood ran down her face from the extensive use of her Quirk, dripping onto her clothes.

"We only have one shot at this, everything'll be gone if we don't get it right." (Y/n) reminded Mari while her hand typed something on her watch-like device. The purple haired girl nodded back, her gloved hand grabbing the other girls and a smirk coming to her face.

"Try not to die out there. You still have a date with my great-grandpa." She teased making (Y/n) glare playfully at her. She finished typing in whatever it was, pressing one last button before they were enveloped by a bright light.

(Y/n) gasped awake after feeling her body being shaken, eyes flying open as she sat up in her seat. In front of her was Hitoshi with a concerned face, his hands holding her arms gently.

"Are you okay? It looked like you were having a nightmare." He asked while she stared at him in confusion and disbelief. She didn't know what those dreams were but they looked so real.

(Y/n) nodded quickly and stood up, brushing Hitoshi's hands off of her. "Yeah, thanks for waking me up." She forced a smiled before stepping off the landed helicopter. Atom Industries was different than what she remembered, granted it was almost over a year ago since she was there.

The building wasn't very tall and was cobalt blue in color, effectively standing out amongst the dark and disturbed city. "This is...different from what I remember." (Y/n) muttered as she walked into the building beside Jon.

"This is it, Atom Industries Japan! The second biggest one there is, just behind the one in California!" He announced to the small group that followed him, grinning proudly. Jon was proud of his company, and he should be, trying to build a name for yourself in the future was hard.

The younger (Y/n) smiled at her mentors burst of emotions. He was an eccentric man, different to what she thought of herself as, and she couldn't help but share his emotions. When he saved her from that...place a few months ago, the hold on her freedom had been released and she was able to truly be herself.

Herself. It was new to her, she didn't even know how to act besides being a soldier waiting for a command. Now, (Y/n) just went with whatever Jon was feeling and tried to share his view of whatever was happening.

"How are we going to get to California in such a short time? Isn't that like, a nine hour flight?" Hitoshi questioned while Mari, (Y/n), (Y/n), and Jon looked at him as if he had grown another head.

They glanced at each other then remembered, he wasn't from their time and didn't know of their technology.

"You have much to learn, my friend." Jon smirked at him then stepped over to the elevator that was beside him. His finger pressed the down button, holding it for a second then releasing it.

Hitoshi ran a hand through his wild indigo hair, a lazy sigh leaving him. The elevator dinged to signal its arrival as the doors opened to reveal an empty lift for them.
