poetic keeper

replaced;

you ever feel like you've been replaced?

if you have, you know how heartbreaking it is when you realize that someone else became more important than you.

if you haven't, you can't understand just by reading a sad "poem".

today, i realized that i had been replaced.

i watched it happen over the last eight months.

that's how long it took for me to realize that i was replaced.

it only took less than half of that time for it to happen.

i was in denial.

but this heartbreak,

no one can deny that kind of emotional pain when they feel it.

it crushes even the strongest souls.

i watched as she shoved her way into our lives and then slowly,

oh so painfully,

i was pushed farther and farther

away.

to the point where nobody can talk to me anymore,

i'm alone and no one can hear me.

they probably can't even see me at this point.

i try and

i try,

but they just don't hear me anymore.
