Epilogue Part 2: Major

“Alright, Jedi. Let’s land this as smoothly as we can.”

 He looked up to me, “Maybe I like it a bit rough.”

 I huffed, “Tell that to your wife.”

 He raised a brow, “Oh, trust me, Commander. She already knows.”

 I chuckled as I took a step back, “Alright, like I needed to know that.”

 There was a moment of silence before we both started to laugh. Once we both calmed down, Jedi looked to me.

“Got it, Commander. Starting to land.”

 I chuckled to myself as I walked down the walkway and headed back to the lounge. I headed over and sat down in front of Raymond. He looked over to me and smiled.

“Is Jedi going to land the ship?”

 I nodded my head, “We’re nearing Earth now.”

 We sat in silence until we landed. We all got off the ship and headed inside the Earth Citadel. Once we got inside, I got stopped by a few people. Raymond continued on his way and then got stopped. I finished up my conversation with these people and then walked over to him.

“Good to see you, Major.”

 I walked over and stood beside Raymond and then looked to see who he was talking to.

“Commander Shepard, it’s been a while.”

 I nodded my head, “Good to see you, Kris.”

 He nodded his head, “If you’ll excuse me, I have some things I need to do.”

 Raymond nodded his head, “We have to get going as well.”

 Kris nodded his head and then walked by us. I watched him walk away and then turned to Raymond. We started to walk to the meeting room when I looked over to Raymond.

“Major?”

 He looked to me, “You didn’t hear? He got promoted to Major.”

 I nodded my head, “Then why is he on Earth?”

 He shrugged his shoulders, “His family is from around here. Might be visiting.” He looked down to me, “Or he might have heard you were coming.”

 I shook my head, “Whatever we had got broken a while ago.”

 Raymond stopped and I looked to him. He crossed his arms and looked to me, “Do you seriously think that man still doesn’t have strong feelings for you?”

 I nodded my head, “I know that he doesn’t. We haven’t talk since that accident on that colony planet.”

 He raised a brow, “But he sent you that letter later apologizing and basically said that he still has strong feelings for you.” He shook his head, “I thought I tough you better.”

 We started to walk to the meeting room and when we got there, I was being radioed. I told Raymond to head in and that I’ll be in a second. I turned on my radio.

“Shepard, think you have time to get a beer?”

 I looked down to the ground and then back up and looked out the window filled hallway, “Not right now. Later?”

 He sighed, “Fine, after your meeting?”

“Sure. I’ll see you there.”

 I turned off my radio and then headed in the room and waited in the back for the meeting to be over. I was only here to make sure that Raymond was safe and that he wasn’t going to get hurt. Once the meeting was over I looked over to Raymond.
