Team Phantom exchanged a look and nodded then looked at Valerie after they had made sure that the class and the chaperones all went inside the Fenton basement/lab and didn't notice their absence -as always.
"So, what is it Val?" asked Danny politely.
"I- well, I have had time to think after tha-" Valerie started only to be cut-off by the glaring Sam.
"Get straight to the point! The class might be moving out any minute!" she hissed. She didn't mean to sound harsh but she still doesn't trust Valerie. Better safe than sorry.
Valerie sighed "I, wanna help you guys fight ghosts" she said determinedly surprising the group of life long friends.
The trio exchanged a look before huddling in to think of a final decision. After a minute or so they separated and informed Val of their decision.
Danny spoke up "We decided to trust you" Sam huffed while Valerie perked up and was about to say something before Danny cut her off "I'm not done yet Valerie. We decided to trust you for now, but if you try any tricks during this field trip..." he left the threat hanging.
Valerie sighed -for what seemed the millionth time today- and nodded "I promise I wont try any tricks. Look there's something else I need to talk to you about but I'll save it for when we enter the bus. We don't exactly have time now." she said.
Danny smiled "Alright Team Phantom! Let's get this party started!" and with that he pushed the door that leads to the Fenton Ghost Hunting Lab.

A/N: I know, I know I was supposed to update on Sunday, BUT today is a special day for all Muslims! Today is the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan! Don't worry I'll still update on Sunday, but I was so excited so I decided to write today. There might be another possible update -though I doubt it and if there is it might be a filler chapter- but don't get your hopes so high up!
