"Okay ladies and gentlemen, gather around because we're about to start the trip to the Frozen Niagara cave opening. It's one of easier tours that we have and some of the areas you see today is be seen on other tours. Now because of a rare disease that's being found in bats we ask that you try not track stuff into the cave, and out to new areas and infect other bats. To prevent this we have a cleaning mat you'll step on going into the entrance, one one you'll step on the way out along with when we get back to the center. I am Ranger Dave accompanying me is Ranger Susan, who will be following in the back and turning lights off. Halfway through the trip we will stop turn off all the lights so you can experience one of the rarest things, total darkness, and if everyone's quiet, total silence. If you have any questions please ask, and if your a slow walker please move to the front and accompany me with the walk so we can set the pace. Let's begin." Our park, or more like cave ranger states before leading everyone to the shuttles we'd be taking to the entrance.

"So how many steps is this one?" Zane asked.
"About 12 minus the entrance to it, and an additional 80 something if you wanna see under the waterfalls." I stated looking over at him.
"Okay, that's fine I can do that." Zane stated after seeming to think for a bit.
"Yea I've seen you do more than 80." I said with disbelief in voice, a small grin had formed on my face.
"I was talking about the 12...." Zane said while looking at me with some sadness in his eyes.

Reaching my hand over I patted him on his cheek, "It'll be okay buddy, I'll carry you."
"Well you sir, sit on a throne of lies." Zane said smacking my hand away.

Getting off the shuttle buses everyone continued following the guide to the entrance for the cave, everyone conversing with each other, either where they're from to how many times they been to the caves, it was peaceful. It's how a hike should be. The trees around you, everyone making new friends, everyone make memories.

Every now and then I'd hear a small click with a flash from the corner of my eye; knowing it was just Zane with whatever camera he brought. He was always artsy, whether it was a little doodle of something or an amazing picture. He actually drew one of my tattoos, it was for some science thing, it's a tiny little skeleton that I'll always hold dear.

Mainly, because I had no other choice with it tattooed on my body, but it's cute and it was the perfect thing to start with. Okay now I kinda see why dad doesn't really like him....
