(okay im not in highschool. i will go into the 8th grade and yeah...)
highschool freshman advice
-supplies
do not buy 6 binders, like one for every class and theyr all one inch. if you have lockers maybe. maybe 2 binders at most.
-orientation
try to look your best. you take your picture for the year or your I.D card.
if you get your schedule at orientation you can walk around to find your classes. you can make pathways of how youre going to walk. like if you do that you wont get lost.
-night before your first day
you want to take a shower, paint your nails, pick out your outfit.
Dont go to bed nervous or like sick. if you go to bed nervous you will stress yourself out.
get good sleep.
-First day of school
dont be nervous or scared, there is nothing to be afraid of. what you are going to do is walk in, sit down, listen to your teacher talk, do it again.
people say that the grades above you will pick on you. they wont care, ignore them.
-Lunch
all the grades eat together, nobody really eats. they just have a snack.
in the quad(little area where everyone hangs out) they just stand around and talk.
-Dress code
well in my area there isnt a dress code. girls have their butts sticking out and stomschs popping out.
but you can't wear spaghetti straps and stuff like that.
-new people
dont worry if you dont have any friends, you will meet more.
-so many people.
if your walking in a hall way, do not stop walking. if youre going to talk to someone go to the side of the hall.
-clubs
there are many clubs, they are good for colleges.
if you stay in the same clun all of highschool you can become president.
-focus on your grades
you can go to a good college, good job, have a good life.
-dont try so hard to fit in.
dont try to do stuff to fit in, youre going to regret it.
-dont do drugs.
you dont want to ruin your future.
-boyfriends/girlfriends
dont waste your time trying to find a boyfriend or a girlfriend.
don't let them pressure you into things you will regret.
-ditching.
dont ditch.
if you do your grade will go down.
-drama
there is a lot of girl drama.
don't get into it.
