Chapter 1

Jungkook's POV

I was sat on my bed, my fingers scrolling across the touch pad as the screen of my Laptop moved down my Tumblr account.

This is my favorite thing to do outside of my reality. It helps me escape from my stresses. It's my last year of highschool, so things at the moment are pretty stressful for me. There's a lot of "grad practice" which is technically just learning your place in walking the line and listening for your name to be called but there's also extra work for me to turn in because I've missed over a month of school.

And knowing me, I can't focus on anything. I get distracted very easily. The teachers should understand though, I have plenty of doctors notes that should excuse those assignments but the school refuses to let me graduate without a passing grade with the doctors notes or not.

I honestly believe that was bullshit and they just don't like me because I'm not like everyone else. Just because I have Tourettes and whatever FPP is, which I think is stupid too, the whole school hates me.

And my friend hasn't been near me for a while which makes me kinda sad. His name is Taehyung, he's been my friend ever since I was six years old. But recently he hasn't been around, and I don't know where he's been for the past five years.

5 years ago

"Tae- crap! h-hyung look!" I said as I squatted next to a certain flower that stood out to me.

"It's pretty, just like you!" Taehyung smiled as he sat next to me, admiring the flower.

I giggled and touched the flower with my finger, it was a blue and purple rose, no other flowers were like it. When I touched it, it glowed a bright blue color.

"I w-want to- dogs! take it h-home, but if I- pink! take it out of the- hey! g-ground, it will die- shit! f-faster." I pouted as I took out my Polaroid camera and snapped a picture of the flower.

"It's ordinary." Taehyung said as he looked at me, my attention turning to him as well.

"Just- shit! l-like you!" I smiled widely and booped his nose, him giggling at my actions.

"Hey Kookie, we should go back home now. It's getting late." Taehyung held his hand out to me and I gladly took it, standing up. "You have school tomorrow, so we should sleep early!"

"Okay f-fuck! T-Taehyungie!" I smiled as we held hands all the way home, getting inside and going to my room. My mother was asleep and my father works at night for a truck company.

He laid out my pajamas, helping me change into the clean clothes. I crawled under the covers and looked at him, a soft smile on my face.

"Promise y-you'll never- cats! l-leave me?"

"I promise Kookie. I've been with you since forever!" He kissed my forehead and turned off the lights, allowing me to drift into a peaceful sleep.

Present

He never came back the next day. Or the day after that. Or the week after that. I haven't seen him since.

I told myself maybe he moved away, or he didn't like me anymore. Whatever the case was, he never came back. No matter how many times I called for him. He lied to me.

"Jungkook! Let's go! You're going to be late!" My mother yelled from the living room. I quickly got up, shutting my laptop and grabbing my backpack.

I quickly left my room, heading towards the front door. "B-bye mom! I'll- f-fuck! see y-you later!"

She kissed my head and ruffled my hair, pushing me out the door. "Be good! And don't eat other people's food!"

"Yeah s-shit! m-mom!" I jogged down the sidewalk, my jeans rubbing against my thighs making my legs itchy.

I arrived at the school, a bunch of people walking in the front doors as I did.

"Hey! Jungkook!" My friend Hoseok called, walking towards me.

"Hobi!" I hugged him for a few seconds and then let go, he was my best friend ever since Taehyung left me. He's always been there for me when I needed it most.

"Are you excited to finally graduate? I am! I'll be so free, I can finally watch YouTube again!" He laughed, his heart shaped mouth glowing amongst the depressed kids roaming around.

"Yeah! I'm so- fucker! excited! We can h-hang out over t-the- pink! summer! I have a-a pool!" I said as we reached the cafeteria, heading to the line to get food.

"Oh yeah! I forgot about the pool! We should have a crazy party at your house for the last day of school!" He suggested.

"I-I don't know if my- d-dogs! mom will l-let me." I said.

"Will she be leaving? Like a vacation?"

"I'm- keys! not s-sure."

"Find out!! Or make her go out for a few nights. Your house is really cool." He grabbed a plastic bowl of cereal and a carton of milk, as did I.

"Okay, I'll- cats! try. You c-can bring- fuck! your friends." I smiled gently as we began to walk to our first period, which we had together.

"Cool! You're the best Kookie." He hugged me as we walked into the room and took our seats, the first bell signaling class to begin.
