Chapter 9

Jungkook's POV

I walked through the mall's hallways while holding Taehyung's hand. We decided to go shopping since we had nothing else to do. "Let's- pink! g-go into Game S-Stop!" I said while dragging him in anyway. We entered the small store, the smell of plastic emitting the air. I dragged him to the PS4 games, my eyes scanning though all the shining blue boxes.

"What one do you want?" Taehyung asked.

One of the boxes glowed a bright blue, I pulled the box from the stand, the title glowing 'OVERWATCH' on the front and sides. "I w-want this- keys! one."

Taehyung nodded and held my hand, taking me over to the counter. I placed the box on the counter, small animals dancing around on top. There was a purple horse, a little heart guy, a yellow puppy, and a blue koala. I smiled at the sight.

"Your total is ₩43,192." (I'm using Korean currency, if you don't know what the ₩ is it means won, and the total in US dollars is 40 dollars)

I pulled out the exact amount, handing him the bills delightfully. The small animal people were climbing the keyboard and the small pencil holders. "Taehyung l-look, they're- pink! climbing the- bunny!thingies!"

Taehyung smiled with a chuckle, wrapping his arms around my waist. The man checking me out handed me a bag with the game, giving me a confused look and didn't say anything but "have a good day" and we walked out. I felt my cheeks grow hot as his arm never left my waist, his grip felt like he was protecting me. And I liked it.

"D-do you want- pink! ice c-cream?" I asked.

"Is that even a question?" He smiled and pulled me to the ice cream stand, ordering two strawberry ice creams for us. The lady gave us our cones and we went to go sit together. We straddled a bench that was in a sitting area, looking at each other. Today was a good day. More small animal people appeared on the bench, this time a pink bunny, a white alpaca and a cookie with arms and legs and a face. I giggled as they held hands and jumped around in a circle.

"Hey, Kookie?" Taehyung suddenly said, I kept my gaze on the characters.

"Y-Yeah?"

"Never mind." He said quietly and licked his ice cream, awkward tension filling the space between us. I looked up to him, his gaze on the small characters dancing around. He looked like something was on his mind, something felt majorly off.

"Taehyung y-you- fuck! can tell me a-anything." I said softly, seeing his eyes flick up to mine. He stared into my soul and took a part of the ice cream off with his lips. I did the same back while giggling.

The mall was covered in pretty colors and cute animal characters that were dancing around, it was probably one of my favorite places to go. It helped me relax a lot, something to get me off of Tumblr and Twitter. I saw two familiar figures walk towards us, instantly smiling at the sight of my friend Hoseok.

"H-Hobi! What- dogs! are y-you doing- shit! here?" I asked as I stood up to hug him. He had brought his other friend along, Yoongi.

"We came to shop around! Jin's birthday is coming up so we wanted to buy him a gift." He smiled widely.

"That's s-sweet. I'm here- blue! with my f-friend," I looked back at Taehyung but he wasn't where he was sitting. He was gone. "He- shit! was h-here just a-a second- bunnies! ago." I scratched my head. "Maybe- fuck! h-he went to the- cunt! bathroom." I shrugged and looked back at Hoseok.

"How cool! Well we're gonna get going unless you guys want to tag along with us?" Hoseok offered but I shook my head.

"I have- bunnies! to find T-Taehyung, I'm also- shit! making dinner t-tonight." I said. Hoseok nodded and waved, Yoongi shooting what looked like a glare, but I couldn't tell. I spun around and looked for Taehyung. My fist hitting my chest repeatedly. "Tae?" I felt a hand grab my wrist, I jumped around, getting into a karate stance. Taehyung looked at me with a dull look and pulled me into a hug. I returned the hug by wrapping my arms around his neck. "Why can't- keys! y-you tell me- dogs! what's w-wrong?"

"Can we go somewhere else?" He asked. I nodded and took his hand, we walked out of the mall, the small characters waving goodbye to us. As we walked down the sidewalk, it was silent. My head jerked from side to side, my fingers moving in constant flicking movements. He pulled my head to his shoulder, wrapping his left arm around my waist and pulling me close to him. The grass had many hybrid flowers, all glowing with bright colors. Beautiful butterflies and bees flying around, their colors magical to my eyes.

We ended up at a nearby park, no one was around but us. We sat on a red bench, more small animal characters sitting on top of the bench. We looked into each other's eyes. Taehyung's could tell a thousand stories, but his face told none.

"T-talk to- shit! me." I said softly, seeing his lip being bitten by his teeth. He was nervous. But why?

A high pitched sound went off in our ears, a bright white door appearing in the middle of the grass. The door opened, and out stepped a male with black and orange hair. I looked at Taehyung, confused. He stared at the door, his own skin almost growing white.

"Jimin?"
