Sitting on the couch just waiting for him to say something. After I told him that it isn't his baby he stormed out of the bathroom with me following behind him. Caleb has been sitting on the couch with his face in his hands.

"Caleb say something please." I begged him to sat something, anything.

"What am I supposed to say to you." he spit out, his voice was dripping with venom. He was angry, hurt, confused, and much more.

"I get it. You are hurt but you don't know what happened. What I went through out there Caleb." I crocked out as I leaned forward to try and touch him, comfort him but he flinched away from me. Well that hurt deeply.

"Don't do that." he snapped at me.

"Do what?"

"Don't turn this around to make me take pitty on you. This is about you yes but it doesn't matter what happened. You are carrying another mans baby. A half vampire baby...." he looked up at me and slowly stud up.

"Kate tell me who did this. Tell me what happened out there." he barked at me.

"Austin. He saved me from Max in a cellar in the woods. I thought he was going to let me go but Max said something like Austin wanted me but Max also did. Austin basically raped me. Saying I would know why when the time came for me to. I guess this is what he was talking about." I whispered looking away from his cold black eyes. I rubbed my belly that was slowly getting bigger.

"You have six weeks before that thing is born Kate. What are you going to do?" he whispered back, sitting on the couch not bothering to look my way.

"Me? Don't you mean us?" tears were already going down my cheeks knowing what he was going to say next.

Caleb looked up at me with a sad expression. "No. I mean you. I am not sticking around with you carrying his baby. Bye Katelyn. I reject you as my mate." Caleb barked at me before leaving the house.

"Its all over. My life is over." I whispered standing up and walking out of the house. I got in my car and drove off. I don't know where I am going but its better that here where Caleb left and my mom knows what's happening. I know she was listening to me and Caleb's conversation. I can't stay here with this baby. It won't be safe. Not here. It will somewhere else.

Eventually my car ran out of gas and I ran out of money. What now? Do I shift and run? Yes, that's exactly what I do. Run as fast and as far as I can. Run to a new life where people will get it and won't leave me. Where people will help me more than I can help myself.

That's exactly what I did. I ran for about three days and two nights. Its night time and I can hardly breath. My legs are ready to give out. My body is begging me to stop but my mind is telling me to keep going.

"Stop!" a loud booming voice echoed threw the forest. I did as it said, coming to a hault and sitting on the ground with my ears turned back to make myself seem less threatening. I may be an Alpha but I'm on another packs land meaning I must abide by their rules.

"Shift back." the voice boomed again. I again, did as it said, shifting back into my human form bowing my head to show respect.

"Well look what we have here. The Alpha of the Red Moon pack. Why have you come here Alpha?" the voice barked at me. I knew he wasn't the Alpha but he was high ranking. Maybe the beta?

"My name is Katelyn Laraine Sladic. Alpha of the Red Moon pack. I have come here to start a better life. I am not a rouge I just ran from my old life for a new one. I am willing to serve under your Alpha if him and his pack would allow me to do so." I said bowing my head more waiting for his answer.

"Very well. We shall take you to Alpha Dean to see what he thinks of you Alpha Katelyn." the voice said before stepping into the light of the moon.

"Jes go get her some of your clothes. She looks to be about your size." the man said to a girl standing behind him.

"Yes Beta Shane." she bowed her head and left.

"So Katelyn what made you want to leave your life behind? Must be something bad for an Alpha of a pack that used to be one of the most powerful packs in the country." he stated with his hands in his pocket as he walked closer to me.

Now I could see him more clearly. He had brown eyes, dark brown hair with some blonde streaks. He was buff but not too buff, he was a little whiter than most wolves, and was about 6'0. I would be lying if I said he wasn't good looking.

"That's between me and your Alpha sir." I stated but made sure to sound respectful as much as I could.

"Fair enough. My name is Shane Grove. Like Hemlock Grove." he chuckled while I starred at him blankly.

"The tv show?" he asked again. I still starred at him with an expressionless face. Is he really making a joke up a murder series? People have weird sences of humor.

"No? Okay. Jes is back with some clothes for you." Shane said before turning around and grabbing the clothes. In one swift motion he tossed them to me and turned around telling everyone to leave. I waited for Shane to leave but he stayed there with his back to me. Sighing I changed into the bra, panties and a beautiful black maxi dress with a flower pattern on the bottom part, it stopped below my breasts where it was nothing but black across them.

"Let's go meet the Alpha." Shane said as he took my hand and led me to the Alpha's house.

When we got there Shane told me to go inside and turn left and the office door was the second door on the right. I opened the office door and starred at the scary looking man behind the desk. He was jet black hair with bright blue eyes. He was well built and very tan. Also very attractive.

"Hello. I am Alpha Dean Michaelson. Who are you?" he stud up and shook my hand. He was very tall, maybe 6'5 at the most.

"I am Alpha Katelyn Sladic." I stated sitting down in one of his chairs.

"Darren Sladic's daughter?" he questioned me. My eyes became wide and he knew the answer was yes.

"How did you know my father?" I barked at him raising my voice more than I should have before bowing my head to show my respect towards his position.

"That does not matter. Why have you come here?"

"I have come to start a new life somewhere else. As I told your Beta I am not a rouge. I just ran from my life and I am still willing to serve under an Alpha. Also I'm pregnant and my mate rejected me because its not his baby. Its the baby of his half vampire brother. His brother kidnapped me and rapped me and sadly I got pregnant with his child. With your blessing I would love to become a part of your pack." slowly raising my head to see his hansome face with many emotions I couldn't read.

"You have my blessing. But my Beta will be your caretaker until he finds his mate or the baby is born. Which ever comes first. Then you will be here with me. Understood?" he asked. All I did was nod and leave. I walked back outside to see Shane sitting on the porch. His head snapped up when he heard me.

"What did Alpha Dean say?" he asked holding my hand.

"He said I may join the pack and you will be my caretaker until either I give birth to the baby I'm carrying or you find your mate then I'm Alpha Dean's." I said hugging Shane with excitement.
