Things might be similar but a lot of things will be different because it's from my character's POV also a few Vampire Diaries characters will be showing up in this story and again I do not own those characters or the show's story line. ~Ember's POV~ 

 I was up in a tree looking up at the night sky. The moon was so bright tonight and it looked beautiful, I loved gazing up at it. It always seemed to sooth me since I was a creature of the night. I started to cry as all the recent events of my life started coming back to me. My parents and my little brother were killed because of me. I remember coming home from school to find them all in the house with a stake through their hearts. It was the worst day of my life and it had only happened a month ago. I was so stupid they all died because of me!! The boy that I was dating had betrayed me after I trusted him with everything. His name was Dylan Knight and he was a vampire hunter, him and his whole family! At the time that I was falling in love with him I didn't know that. Gosh I was so naive, I hated myself, I should be the one dead not my family. 

I wanted to kill Dylan so bad but I couldn't because he was hunting me along with his whole family and I was out numbered and in hiding. I had my good friends Stefan and Damon Salvatore to back me up but I didn't want them getting involved because I didn't want to blow their cover to the hunters because they were vampires too.  Plus they had taken me in after they found out that my parents were dead so they were my family now. I kept crying and then I heard a rustle at the bottom of the tree I was in. I quickly wiped my tears and balanced myself in a crouch ready to pounce on any one that came near me. I heard more rustleing and then a black bird came flying near me and I snarled at it. I knew exactly who it was. The midnight black crow perched itself on the branch next to me and I saw it shift into human form. "Damon what do you want?" I asked him annoyed. He smirked at me "Someone's in a bad mood" he said smugly. I rolled my eyes and jumped off from the tree, landing perfectly on my feet. "Damon I just want to be alone right now." I grumbled starting to walk back to the Salvatore house. I felt Damon right behind me. I couldn't help but smile at that.  

Damon was just so god damn sexy! But he was in love with a girl that loved his brother, and Damon was to blind to see that. Damon was walking right next to me now and I sighed. "Seriously Damon! Please just leave me alone." I whined. He smirked. "Come on Ember you're acting all depressed again and I hate that. Let's go have some fun." he told me winking, grabbing on to my arm so I could stop and look at him. I smiled at him and nodded. "What do you have in mind?" I asked evily. "Well Stefan won't be happy about it because you're not supposed to be out but who cares about him. Let's go find a bite to eat." he finished flashing his fangs at me. I smirked and the both of us took off running until we found a small club. It was always easy to find people here, they just saw a pretty face and they came willingly. It wasn't even a chase I think that's why Damon and I always did this. 

They were just so easy to trap and we enjoyed playing around with these miserable pathetic humans. I used to admire them but after my family was murdered I started to hate every human out there. They called us soul less, dead, creatures, they should look in the mirror at themselves. I calmed down from my internal hate for them and put on a fierce smile. I looked at Damon and he did the same, we nodded at each other and we came out of the shadows to the lighted club. Music was pumping inside and you can hear it from outside. Damon went to the security guard and compelled him to let me in since I was 16 and this was a club for 21 and older. The guy let us in and I followed Damon inside keeping close to him. The club was dark and different colored lights were flashing everywhere. Some song from Niki Manaj was playing and I groaned. These people had no taste in music. A ton of people were on the dancefloor grinding and being vulger.
