Killua's P.O.V
Today will be a good day. After all it is the day I was born. What could be better than that? Truly nothing. Sense it's my birthday, I plan on have all my friends come over. Yup I'm the best.
Since I just got up I decided to check my phone. I notice that I had a text from two person. They were sent at midnight. One was from a unknown number and the other from my best friend Gon.
I couldn't really ask for a better friend, though I'm surprised I don't have one from Y/n. I type in my password and open my messages. I checked Gon's first. His is just a simple 'Happy Birthday' with a few exclamation marks after, but the one on the other hand... the unknown number was way longer and detailed.
"Happy Birthday my dude! We've been friends for a while now and I'm proud to say we are! I hope you don't hate me now that you're a year older. I'm glad we could have such a great year again together. Let's do it again this year. I hope you understand how much you mean to me... after all not only are you my best friend but you're also my crush! Yup I love you Kil! Let's have another great year together!"
What? WHAT?!?!? Ok, ok calm down Kil! Let's think about this. Who could have sent it? Y/n? No, that's to must of a dream come true... Kayla? Maybe, but she gave up last month... Think, who has my number? (Bloby Note: Ok so Wattpad deleted the rest of my story got deleted so it's rushed... Sorry...) Gon, Y/n, Kurapika, Leorio, Ritz, My siblings, Kayla... wait... RITZ?!?! Is this her number?!?! No, no. It's not.
Well I guess it can wait for now... I have plans. I go to a group chat with my friends and me. I send a text saying, "Yo you guys want to come over?" I immediately get replies from everyone but Y/n and Leorio.
"Of course! I was planning on coming anyway!" Gon reply is as enthusiastic as ever.
"Sure, is zestful 1I'll bring Leorio too. Happy birthday Killua." Kurapika is always so formal in texts.
"Thanks guys but have you heard from Y/n?" I reply to them. It seem no one know where she is... is she ok? Of course she is she's Y/n! She'll be here after she sees the text, anyway better get ready.
~Time skipy-skip~
After the Preparations
Gon showed up early and helped me prepare for the others. Granted I love hanging out with these guys but... Y/n hasn't talked to me all day. Guess she just hates me... I decided to go and call her but she doesn't answer...
"Don't worry Kil, she's just busy, I'm sure!" Gon tries to reassure me, but I can't shake the feeling that somethings up...
After the party everyone left and Y/n never showed. It's 11:34 and I just start sobbing. Why? Why didn't she show?!? Why couldn't she have at least texted?!? And I was going to tell her that I love her...
As my self pity continues a knock appears at the door. I dry my tears as I look at the door. I go to open it and with looking at who it was I yell in their face.
"GO AWAY, PLEASE!"
"O-oh, I-I'm so s-sorry I shouldn't have c-come..." that voice!
"Y/n?" I look up to see her standing in the doorway.
"Was it the text? I'm sorry you can just ignore that last part..." Text? What text? Wait.
"Did you get a new number?" I look at her as she looks guilty.
"You guys didn't know? I told you guys I was getting a new phone." I can't believe it was her. I was really her. S-she loves me! She really loves me!
"Well I can't ignore the last part if I feel the same..." Y/n blushes and rubs the back of her neck. I just pull her into a hug. She hugs back. After we let go she smiles.
"I brought cake." She holds up a bag. I smile and invite her in. We enjoy the cake until a perfect moment arrives.
"Oh you got something right there, I'll get it." And then I risk it and kiss her. She just kisses back and pulls away with a smile. We spend the rest of the night acting like idiots and having fun.
