Jack's P.O.V

I walked back into my room, finding Grace on the bed, under all my blankets, with her back facing me.

"Grace....are you okay?" I stepped closer to the bed.

"He wasn't always like this....believe it or not, he used to be an amazing dad....but then..." She trailed off deep in thought. "I caught him cheating on my mom, she divorced him. Things just started to spiral out of control. I couldn't imagine the things he would do to my little sister. A little part of me wishes I wouldn't have told my mom....I just want this nightmare to be over..."

I joined her under the covers. Tapping her on the shoulder, signaling her to roll over. I grabbed her, pulling her into my chest as tightly as I could. She broke down in tears again. I wanted nothing more than to protect her, but I didn't put up much of a fight to keep her here in the first place. I practically threw her into the wolf's den.

"Jack..." She proped herself up on her elbow to get a better look at my face.

"Yes?"

"Thank you..." She smiled softly before laying her head back on my chest.

"I told you before, no matter what time of day or night it is, you call, I'm going to be there. For whatever." I kissed the top of her head. She moved closer, trying to fill any space that was left between us.

Grace's P.O.V

I laid on Jack's chest, listening to his heart beat slow down along with his breathing. Hoping my dreams would take over my thoughts.

I soon found myself sitting at the foot of his bed, thinking about everything that's happened.

"Hey...are you okay?" I felt Jack shift behind me.

"Yeah, just thinking." I turned to face him.

"Wanna talk about it?" He got up, kneeling on the floor in front of me.

"No, I'm okay." I smirked at him.

"You sure? The sun is coming up and I'm already awake. So if you want to talk we can. Or you can lay back down, I'll run into the kitchen and make us breakfast, we can eat in here and watch a movie."

"I like the second idea." I rolled over crawling back onto the bed and throwing myself onto his pillow.

"Okay, I'll be right back." He stood up, exiting his bedroom.

Jack's P.O.V

I walked into the kitchen, opeing up the cabinet and grabbing the frying pan.

"How is she feeling?" I could see my mom leaning on the wall out of the corner of my eye.

"Well, she hasn't slept. I figure I'd make us some breakfast." I opened the fridge, grabbing the eggs. "She needs help, but I don't know how to help."

"Sometimes just being there for her is help enough. Just don't forget to take care of yourself in the process."

"Yeah...I won't."

I walked back into my room, two plates full of food. I heard her light snores. I placed the plates on my desk and crawled back into bed with her. Letting my dreams take over again.

I rolled over, feeling the empty spot where she laid only a few hours ago. I sat up, rubbing my eyes and scanning my empty room. She was gone, I walked out of my room, taking notice that the plates of food were no longer on my desk.

"Hello lazy." I heard as I turned into the living room.

"I thought you left."

"No, that would be mean. I just figured I kept you up all night I'd let you sleep." She smiled.

"Well thank you." I joined her on the couch. "how are you feeling?"

"I feel fine. Just not looking forward to going back."

"Then don't." I glanced at her. She had a blank expression. "What are you thinking?"

"You know I have too." She shook her head. "I don't want to, but I have to."
