He shouted again if she was hospitalized before. She didn't reply. He told her that if she does not tell him if she was hospitalized or not,she could die. The phone slipped from Wendy's hand onto the floor. Irene just went into the room as it was the day before their vacations ended. Irene picked the phone and asked who was it. No one replied. She saw the screen but the call had already ended. She asked Wendy abot what had happened. She had tears in her eyes. Irene tried to calm her down. She gave her water to drink and asked her again about what had happened. Wendy was just about to reply that Joy and Seulgi came into the room to tell Irene that her phone has been ringing. They handed her the phone and sat there. They saw Wendy's ears and asked what had happened. As Wendy doesn't cry infront of others. She is like a happy virus of the group. Stays happy and tries to make other happy. Always smile. It was the first time for them seeing her cry. Irene asked who it was. The reply was "How could you do that to me. Weren't we friends? How can you not tell me if Yeri was hospitalized. How can you not?" Irene knew who it was. It was Yeri's brother and Irene's best friend Sujin. She asked "What happened? What are you saying? Wher is Yeri?" But he cut the phone.
Irene then asked Wendy if it was Sujin on her phone too. She nodded. Irene asked her again that what was it that happened. What did he say at that time when he called her. Wendy replied "He asked if Yeri was hospitalized before but I didn't say anything and asked him why he was asking me that suddenly. He didn't say anything but before cutting the call he said if I don't tell him if she was hospitalized before or not Yeri could die."
Tears ran down through Wendy's cheeks. Joy and Seulgi were in a shock.
A few hours later...
Seulgi asked her manager if they could go to Yeri's hometown. He said that he'd ask the company. The company told them that they could go but only for some days as they had been unactive for a long time and now they have to think about their comeback. Irene told him that Yeri wasn't in good condition so they have to think about her health first.
They booked the tickets that were available and went to Yeri's hometown first thing in the morning. When they arrived at her home. They asked her parents about in which hospital she was admitted. Her parents told them that it was Sujin that was hospitalized not Yeri and that he is to be discharged that day. They still asked in which hospital he was in as they want to surprise him as they came to know that her parents also didn't know about her.
They arrived at the Hannam university hospital where Yeri was admitted.
Sujin was shocked to see them there but he was also angry.
Irene met him but she was also embarrassed.
