Irene just left after saying Goodbye.
She enterd the topmost university of Austria "N.U.A" ehere no one knew her. She wasn't in contact with any of her members. RedVelvet was active as 3 membered group.
.........4 Years Later........
Irene was walking out of her class when some girls came after her and asked her to study with them and to teach them a little so they can pass the exams with good marks. She replied,"Ok,I will."
Then they talked a little and started walking again.
She asked the name of the girl who was a new Student. She told Irene that it was 'Yerim'. She was a trnasfer student from korea too. Irene thought that that she misheard and asked her again. She again replied 'Yerim'. She remembered Yeri as her original name was Yerim. Irene was shocked to hear that name. She was surprised. Tears crawled down her cheeks as she was shocked. Everyone asked her what happened but she wiped her eyes and said that she remembered her friend who had the same name?
Some days later....
Irene tries to get in contact with her members. She calls Wendy and Seulgi but they don't pick up. She calles Joy even when she doesn't want to but she picks up and asks who it is. Irene remains silent for a few minutes and replies,"Joy-ah,It's Unni...... Irene Unni"
Joy was shocked and ashamed as she apologized for what she happened earlier in the past. Irene replied,"It's Okay and I know that you didn't mean it and that you didn't contact me as you were ashamed. Joy-ah 괜찮아 I know it was hard on you too."
Wendy enters the room and asks who it is. Joy exclaims in excitement,"It's Unni. Irene Unni." Wendy snatches the phone from her and asks ,"Really!!Unni how are you? Where are you? I want to meet you and I am so sorry" Irene replies that she is not in Korea and that she will come back after a year. Wendy explains that they gave an official statement that Irene went to complete her studies so she took a break and that Yeri went on a hiatus for no one knows how long and that they will be active as a 3 membered group. Wendy doesn't tell her about Yeri's condition. Wendy tells her that when Irene comes back they will officially announce that Yeri left the group and this industry for a good reason. Joy tells her that Seulgi Unni is fine and that she is the leader as she is the strongest in the group and that fans also made a big fuss, over that
Irene becomes sad and she cries a little after they say farewell to eachother.
When the call ended, Irene was too happy that she didn't think for a second that Wendy mentioned Yeri leaving the group and the industry and went back to the hallway. Next day when she was brushing teeth in the morning, she saw herself in the mirror and she sank deep in the ocean of thoughts... How happy she was back then when she was performed and cherished with Joy Wendy, Seulgi and Yeri. Suddenly she remembered that Wendy mentioned something about Yeri leaving the industry for good... she thought what would have happened that she didn't even contact her and she'll be leaving behind what she loved the most, is she okay or going through hard time again? She had thousands of thoughts when someone knocked the door and said that it's emergency, meeting is being heldand she's on call.
Irene forgot everything again and rushed out. The same day when she was lying at the bed she remembered Yeri again, she thought about calling her and asking her to meet because she missed her the most and then she took a flight to dreamworld as she slept.
Some time passed by, Irene become more busy but she was happy now and felt light as she contacted the girls but still she remembered what she heard about Yeri and she was anxious to hear about Yeri or from Yeri.
Yeri was fighting between life and death, Wendy, Seulgi and Joy were sad and prayed for her to get better, no betterment in those few months but their hopes were high. In those months Irene didn't hear a word from them, neither Irene had time to contact them but still they remained in her heart. She talked about them to her friends in university and in hospital all the time. One day when Irene was going back from hospital she got a call from Joy: "Unni, how are you, when will you come back? We miss you and need you. Is it night there?
Irene listened and tears fell down the cheeks and answered " How have you all been? I'm okay, i miss you all too. Yeah its night, I'm heading back from hospital. Are you crying?"
Joy was sitting next to Yeri who was unconscious " no, i think i have sore throat."
Joy knew she was weeping but she won't tell because she don't want her to worry when they are far apart " no Unni I'm fine. I just wanted to say come back to us before its too late." And she hung up without saying goodbye leaving Irene in deep thought and regret of being far from them. She walked up the stairs as she felt burdened and that there is something wrong and at the same moment she promised that she will go back to korea as soon as possible after the finals!
The life goes on and
