ZJ'S POV:
Finally. It's summertime and I ain't gotta do shit until further notice.
This is all I can think about as I pack my clothes to go to my mother's. Wait, this would probably make a lot more sense if I explain myself.
What down, my name is Zoey Jane Thigpen, but everyone and they momma call me ZJ. My parents are divorced but they both remarried different people. My mom is gay but my dad is bone straight. I have the complexion of caramel and I'm thick in all the right places. Last but not least, I only have one biologically related brother.Now back to my thoughts.
Man I can't wait to get into this water and have a good time with my favorite family.
Just then my dad came into my room.
" You ready to go Chunky Monkey?" he asked me with a smile. I knew he was only happy to have the house alone to him and the wench he calls a wife. But its cool though.
Since my mom lives all the way in Woodrigde, it took us a good 45 minutes to get there. The whole time we were driving my dad was blasting every Gnarles Barkley song he could find.
When we arrived there were three people waiting for my brother and I instead of two. We couldn't exactly make out who the mystery person was but we knew they had to be someone we had already met.
