The next night, Hailie sent Cinderella to the ball alone, in hopes that Ms Parker wouldn't recognise her as easily as she did herslf. So Cinderella left, leaving Hailie behind, to do the chores and clean the house by herself.

By the time she had arrived, Ms Parker, Bethany, Lydia and Jeanne were already there, dancing with all the rich folk who loved to flash around their money, wearing their bright, golden watches, and fancy suits and top hats. As soon as Cinderella walked in, Prince Jack walked up to her, and asked for a dance.

"No thank you, Sir," Cinderella politely responded.

"I do say, young Lady, you look oddly farmiliar. Have we met somewhere before."

"I highly doubt it, Sir. I'm not often allowed out of the house, and I'm sure I would remember seeing you. Sorry, Sir."

"Please, young Lady, call me Jack."

"Cinderella. Pleasure to meet you."

"So, about that dance..."

Cinderella smiled, and took the Prince's hand. Together they walked to the middle of the dance floor. Hand in hand, they danced together. All night long.

Throughout the entirity of the dance, all the Queen's guests were staring at the couple in awe, including Ms Parker and her children. But the two had completely forgotten about the eyes of others, so lost and touched by the moment.

"I must restate, young Lady, you do look oddly farmiliar."

"I dare say so, Jack. Except..."

"What is it?"

"Your eyes. They remind me of someone."

Hearing this statement, Ms Parker saw through Cinderella's mask, and stormed to the middle of the dance floor, grabbing her by the hair and dragging her halfway to the door. In her rage, Ms Parker yelled out:

"You are not supposed to be here, you foul, arrogant, rude girl! I've done so much to get you underneath my roof! I've walked throught the snow, over ice, I've given up my riches, and I am not going to have you run off and escape from under my roof! Do you understand me, servant?!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" an outraged voice booms from the high table. With this, the Queen steps down, and walks over to Ms Parker and Cinderella.

Ms Parker instantly let go of Cinderella's golden locks. Realising what she had just stated, she ran, the beautiful young woman, instantly being caught by the policemen, and their steed.
