It's a new day. A day, that Ryan dreads to wake up on, though, didn't remember the reason why.
But, he had to go to work before he gets late.

He sighed as he sat up and heard the familiar sound and vibrating coming from his phone.

Andrew always texts me nowadays. Sometimes it's irritating but, he's a good friend.

"Is he really a friend now? He flirts with me everywhere, we have so much moments together, and I have feelings for him." Ryan mumbled, grabbing the gadget and checking the text messages he received from yesterday.

DrewAn lol (yesterday)
sorry about what happened today.
i couldn't stand watching him degrade you in front of everyone.

Ryan says a small 'ooh' as he recalls why he didn't feel like waking up, and what just happened the last day. Luke got pissed at him and... Just shit happened. His heart felt like it was being clenched, he had made a small mistake and messed up his progress with Luke.

Wait.
It wouldn't even matter. The devil never liked him back anyway.
"Maybe Sir Toonz is a jerk, that's all.." Ryan slightly groaned.

Ryan arrived at the office. It was 6AM and the employees were still chattering a bit. The bunny puts his bag down on his desk once he reached his cubicle.
"Hey Ohm!~" Ryan jumped a little, turning to see Andrew, who was earlier than him today.
"Hey, Drew." Ryan said, faintly smiling. The bunny was still a tad bit bothered by the thought of yesterday, but he tried his best not to make it obvious. "Thanks for helping me yesterday. I wouldn't have been able to finish the papers without you." Andrew chirped, grinning.
"Yeah, you're welcome. You did pretty good though, if they happen to give you more paperwork today, maybe I'll let you handle it on your own." The bunny said, snickering and shrugging.
"Sounds like a challenge." Andrew smirked, "Challenge accepted, Sir yes sir!"
The two laughed, like if there was no tomorrow.

Luke passed by the cubicle.
He glanced but continued walking.
He didn't want to see them.

Ryan slowly stopped, noticing Luke. "My god, Ohm. Hey, can we go to Wendy's later? I just wanna ask y..." The bunny didn't pay attention to Andrew, "Sir Cartoonz looks upset." He mumbled, "Hey, earth to Ohm? Are you even listening to me?" Andrew chuckled, nudging Ryan hardly, the hit felt a little intimidating but Ryan just brushed it off. The bunny mutters a small 'ow' and giggles, "Sorry. I zoned out, sure. Ask anything later." He smiled, looking up at the taller one. "Alright!"

(a/n: ah my mood dropped.. i'll try my best to write this chapter.)

During the day, Luke never got out of his office.
Ryan was keeping himself distracted with Andrew but deep inside, he was worried for the man.
"Aye. Yer boss is givin' you more paperwork." Ryan looked at David, who was holding 4 inches of paperwork. "Where's Sir Cartoonz?"
"Eh, told me that he din't feel like walkin' today. So I might as well give this before I step into his stubborn territory," David said, putting down the papers and patting it. "Work hard, a'ight?" David grinned at Andrew, who nodded determinedly.

And with that, the Irish man walked away. "You're doing this by yourself tonight, okay?"
"I immediately regret this.." Andrew says, as Ryan started giggling, which the other found cute, of course.

Lunch break, wAhoo. Ryan stretches, groaning and feeling refreshed.
"Phew. Wendy's, right?"

"'Course, Ohm."

The two arrived at the resto, spotting some of the employees there. Andrew grabs Ryan's wrist, dragging him to a vacant table for two. "So, before we start ordering, what'cha gonna ask?" The bunny said, smiling innocently at the other.

Meanwhile, at Jon's table...

"I feel so damn wrong spying on them, man." Jon whispered to Evan, who was helping him on this kind of mission(?). "Shh, it's for Luke, Del. We don't want him looking so bummed out now, don't we?" Evan said, making a frown. "Yeah.. I don't like seeing him sad."
"Why are they hugging?"
"What? Who?" Jon yelped quietly, spotting Andrew and Ryan hugging.

"I think I heard Andrew asking if Ohm can be his boyfriend... Wait."
Jon's eyes widen, mouth agape under his hockey mask. "WHAT?" He whisper-yelled, looking at the owl.
"Dude, dude, I'm sorry. That's what I heard. How about we ask Ohm later so that I'm sure?"
"Okay. That's a damn great idea, totally."
"Hey! Don't underestimate me. Ryan's kind and all that shit,"
"Don't overestimate him." Jon made a '.-.' expression, sighing.

"SO THEY'RE ARE DaTING NOW??" Evan almost screamed, but kept quiet since he was talking to Jon at the reception. "Yeah. I asked earlier, didn't you see me?"
"Oh. I think my eyes were glued to my monitor," Evan laughed, scratching the back of his neck. Jon shook his head, disapproval now plastered on his face. "That's bad for your eyes, Mr. Fong,"

"Oh yeah, I visited Luke's office. He looked like he just got out of bed in a bad mood and in his uniform," Evan added, recalling what Luke looked like.

Earlier...

The door creaks from Luke's office, the owl's eyes glowing a bright yellow in the oddly dark room. "Sir? Luuuuke?" Evan whispered, looking at the devil with his night vision. "What?" Luke rose his head up, his hair a little messed and he looked like complete shit. "Oh.. Are you okay? I think I can't be able to tell you the info I have in this case, so you'll have to find it out yourself. You should go home, Luk-"
"No. I'm okay. I don't want an absence signed in my paper." Luke's voice croaked, "Well.. Okay. I'll be going now, take care." Evan said, waving a small goodbye before closing the door and sighing.

Back to the present...

"That sucks.. I'm gonna go talk to him at his house." Jon said, resting his head against his hand. "Sure." Evan settles his hand near the other's arm, caressing it with his thumb. "I hope it'll be all okay, y'know." The owl whispers to Jon, who became a little red. "Y--yeah.." Jon whispers back, smiling sadly.
