bunny's boss | ohmtoonz (BOOK 1)

(a/n (5/30/18); i apologize once again if the chapter will be messy or a lil off! some stuff just happened earlier and i feel currently a little horrible, but i wanted to try and write a chapter for y'all.)

It was day 2 of Ryan being in the hospital.
Luke was back on track (and feeling a little better, probably moving on a bit), but he had scheduled himself an early dismissal today because he had to take care of Ryan's dog and clean the house nicely.

Sure, it was a pain but... It'll possibly be the last time he ever gets inside that house, since Andrew could move in with the younger one.
"Hey Toonzy! You haven't been talkin' to me the last days, thought you got mad at me or somethin'," Mark immediately approached Luke, the second he entered the office. "Oh no, I was just.. In a really shitty state, that's all. Y'know why." Mark said a subtle 'ohh' and nodded. 
"Well, I'm gonna go to my office now, and I'll go home at 1PM today and tomorrow, I have some important business to attend to,"

A.K.A Taking care of my taken crush's house, thank you.

Luke says, before walking to his office.
He sighs as he settles his things on his desk, considering the fact that  Andrew was now the new head to the office he was assigned to. 
"Boss? Ye there?" Luke looks over to the door, seeing David peaking through. "Oh! I'm glad yer okay. I heard that some shit had been botherin' ye lately." David says, "Oh, I'm a little alright now. It's okay.." Luke says, reassuring the other. "Alright, and uh, Ava will be assigning work to Sir Andrew later aswell, so I hope yer gonna start scanning the other employees soon. I'll get goin' now, have a fun day." David said before walking out.

"Uhm, Mr. Ohmwrecker?" 
Ryan slowly opens his eyes, to see a male nurse beside his bed.
"Oh-" He utters out, seeing that he had a tray in his grip. The bunny assumed that it was his breakfast.

"Hi there, my name is Mike but I prefer you call me as Nurse Satt.. Is the contract feeling okay? No discomfort?" Mike asked, while he put down the tray for Ryan. "Y-Yeah.. It's all okay." Ryan smiles, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
"Take your time. You just woke up and I figure you might not have the energy to eat yet." Mike softly says, showing signs that he was tired aswell. Ryan took notice of this, "Did you come to work early?" The bunny asked in a curious manner, as he wanted for him to rest too.
"Well.. Yes. I came here at 3AM. It was pretty early, still dark out," Mike faintly laughs, yawning after. "I.. I suggest you take a seat." The bunny giggles, making the other nod and sit down beside the bed (on a chair). "I'm not really an early bird, but this was my dream job, after all." Mike grins at Ryan, "Oh, would you like the TV on?" He added.

"Sure.. I'd love to catch up on some news." Mike takes the remote, turning the monitor on, revealing the latest news from either yesterday or earlier today. It was nothing interesting, just a bunch of traffic stuff, and shit like that. "Pretty boring news today, huh?" Mike said, making Ryan sigh, "Yep."

"Oh, I just remembered I have to go back to what I was doing." Mike says, standing up and dusting himself off. "Enjoy your meal and have a nice day, Mr. Ohmwrecker." He smiles before going out. "O-okay.."

It was 8AM, and Luke was going through the office.
He finally had some energy to go and walk around, as he talked some sense into himself the last day. 

I don't need to be all broken and shit just because of this guy I like.
He never even liked me back anyway. 
I'd rather be full time enemies with a douchebag rather than be emotional over a taken man.

Luke thought as he looked through the cubicles.
He was pretty proud of the office he was dealing with, no workers slacking off for no reason, and always working hard. 
Though the thought went away when he reached Andrew's cubicle, where he kept bothering Malika, who was trying to focus on her work. 
Though Luke would shrug it off, something unnecessary happened.

"Stand up, Malika."
Malika looked confused and a little scared, but did so. "Bitch." Andrew slaps the girl, before sitting back down and continuing his work like if nothing happened.
Luke's eyes widened, causing him to walk up to his cubicle. "Hey. What the actual hell did you do just now?" He asked in a firm tone, making sure that he wouldn't lose his temper again.
Andrew looks up at Luke, his expression turning wicked. "Ah, it's you. I won't do anything this time since I have a very high rank now, but I'll let you know that once I'm promoted as your rank, you're done." Andrew smiles, a smile that emitted dark intention.
Luke growled and rushed over to Malika's cubicle, "Malika? Are you okay?" The devil said, checking her face. "N-no, I'm alright Sir." She smiles softly and motioned him to get back to what he was doing. He sighs, nodding and walking away. 

(a/n: i apologize again cause i've been trying to write this for two/three(?) days now because of my writer's block xD)

Luke sighs at Lunch, as he was walking out of the building.
 He didn't plan on eating at a resto, instead he walked to the hospital Ryan was admitted in. 
"Visiting him won't do me any harm.." He mumbled, now walking on the streets of a building-filled city. He took his time on walking, looking around and examining the structures around him. "I never really got time to admire the view of this place." He said, looking around.

It didn't take as much time reaching the hospital since the devil was enveloped in looking at the buildings, architecture, and stuff like that. Once he opens the door, everyone in the waiting room is looking at him like if some god had just entered the place.
He brushed the stares off, "The room for Ryan Ohmwrecker, please?" He asks, unintentionally burning a stare into the woman. He wasn't very good at eye-contact with strangers..
"A-ah, he's in.. Room 15.." She smiled, her face was red. Luke, for a second, made a weird expression but said thank you before going on ahead to the long hallway ahead of him.

As Luke got to room 15, he slowly opens the door, "Ryan?"
