"Lee,care to explain?" My mom asked me in a way that clearly stated that we would be having 'THE' talk later.
"Uh,umm....mom-this is--" I started slightly hyperventilating, hiding the vase behind me.Sweat starting to roll off my forehead. No,don't judge me. I am a smooth liar, but my mom manages to look through my lies easily.Talking from experience,it makes me frantic when I'm lying to my mom. I have no idea how she does it!
"Good evening ma'am. I am Jaden Wayland. I and Talia are partners for Chemistry and we were discussing about the project for the upcoming science exhibition." He lied through his teeth smoothly.His electric blue eyes not even blinking once,and his posture straight and firm.
"Good Lord.You are a charming young gentleman aren't you?"My mom asked him, impressed.
I stared at him ,shocked.
"Uh, mom?Why are you back home early?"I asked her, not wanting to look like an idiot staring at him.
She waved a hand through the air."Oh! Mr. Jameson had to leave early due to some call from home. So he said I can leave too. Either way I'll leave you two to it. Lee, please inform me the next time we have unexpected guests." She said. My mom worked as the P.A of Mr.Jameson of the prestigious JEnterprises.
"Yeah,sure mom." I nodded my head as she left the room.
I let out a breath that I didn't know that I was holding the moment Jaden closed the door.
"So scared of mom,huh?"He asked, his cocky attitude back.
I gave him a blank stare,without answering.
We both stood like that for a while.
Soon enough he shuffled on his feet feeling uncomfortable.
"What are you looking at?" He snapped his fingers.
"That's exactly what I'm trying to figure out." I smirked.
"Ha.Ha. Very funny."He muttered. But ofcourse he won't let his pride to be hit."You sure you weren't checking me out."He cocked his head to a side,leaning on the window sill
"I don't know what makes you so stupid, but it really works. I would rather sit through double physics than check you out."I folded my arms in front of my chest.
"Babe, beauty and hotness is a blessing. People who don't have it would call it stupid because they are nothing but jealous."
"Fine,you are hot."I dropped
"Atlast! I knew you couldn't hold on for long. So.......how hot?"He asked with a triumph, though surprised.
"Like an oven........-"I chose my words carefully as his smile widened-"when it's off." His smile dropped off like it just hit a car.
"Do you know what is funny?Not you. So shut up."He said ,looking seriously pissed off.
"Cool down a bit or your head's gonna burst ya know."I teased. Gosh! This is heaven.
"Oh,I'm definitely cooler than you."He smirked again.I'm gonna punch that smirk off his face one day.
"Well,if your cooler than me,wouldn't that make me hotter than you?"
"You have a way with you words don't you?"He asked, finally looking like he is giving up.Yay! Talia-1 Jaden-0
"Took a PG on it.You still didn't tell me why you are in my room."I said with my hands on my hips.
"Now that"s a mystery for me not to tell and you to find out." He winked and jumped out through the window in a swift move,that I would have missed had I blinked. Wait!Didn't he come through the front door?
I ran to the window to see whether he ended up with a leg fracture.
But unfortunately,no.
"See ya in school ,babes."He called out as he ran-jogged to his motorbike.
Maybe the scoreboard hadn't changed at all in the first place.
With a bright collection of curse words from my mouth I crashed on my bed,wondering what the hell he was doing in my room.
