"L-Lauren!" Camila screamed in horror, about ready to gag.

Lauren, however sighed as she dusted the dirt on her hippie clothes and frowned angrily at the latter. "Weirdo, why'd you kiss me all of a sudden?" The green-eyed scoffed at brown-eyed horror stricken face.

Camila openly gawked at her.

"What the hell makes you think I fucking want to!" The latter mentally shook a fist at the girl. "Oh god! My life is over!!" Camila cried. If people at school found out about this..

Fuck.

"Whatever. Just don't let it happen again!" Lauren snorted unladylike and turned to the opposite direction of where school was.

Still backed up against the real brick wall, Camila watched as Lauren shoved her hands into her jean pockets and muttered gibberish under her breath.

Dumbstruck by the latter's bad attitude, yet more so by what happened, the schools miss popular stood frozen. She could have sworn she saw a light blush appear on the green-eyed teen's pale face. However, that was far from what's important.

SHE JUST KISSED LAUREN FREAKING JAUREGUI!

The biggest joke of her school! Not to mention the teen reeked of weed.

And now she's really late. Diane's going to pound her.

Was she cursed or something?

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck!

"This is the fifteenth time."

Camila tensed when she saw a humongous vein appear on the principal's forehead. Although that wasn't the only thing she noticed.

"Di, why are you blue –"

"Don't change the subject!" The cuban woman scolded the teen, mostly out of embarrassment. Diane cleared her throat and attempted to calm herself down when she noticed her younger sister flinch fearfully in her seat. "What's your excuse this time huh?"

The teen cleared her throat nervously. "Well, you see. I place the blame on Austin."

"Your ex?" Camila inwardly cringed at the word ex. However, mentally she shook it off.

"Yup."

"And why is that?"

"Because ever since I started and stopped dating him I've been lost and confused and my brain's totally gone missing. And that's all because he made me do drugs." Camila retorted in a very dramatic tone.

"Is that true?"

"Everything but the drug part." Little miss popular responded casually.

Diane's eyebrow twitched and so Camila quickly intervened. "But he might as well be guilty on making me do drugs! Drugs of false love." She silently pretended to cry.

Diane looked at her sister with boredom. "Are done bullshitting me yet?"

"Yeeees..." Camila inwardly pouted.

"So why are you really late?"

"I would have been early if someone hadn't robbed me of my cherry red convertible—"

"Oh don't go blaming me for this. You deserved it and you know it." Diane scolded.

Camila signed and leaned back in her seat. Sometimes it sucked when your principal also happens to be your guardian and older freaking sister.

When their parents passed away five years ago, Camila has been entrusted in Diane's care. That is actually the main reason why Diane let go of her acting career, to take care of her baby sis, and then she was offered a job at the academy and the rest was history. As for Camila ever since Diane took care of her it has been nothing but hell for the poor teen.

Diane would make a very successful watchdog. Always on her case...

"Your grades are a mess, mija, especially in Mr. Levine's class. You're falling, and it's already your junior year! How are you ever going to get accepted into college?" The principal narrowed her eyes at her sister.

Camila could only sigh. She didn't plan to go college, in fact after high school she intended to go to LA and get a job at a record label.

"You don't understand! That man is the devil. He's out to get me!'

"Oh really? I can't imagine why." As Camila opened her mouth to make a retort, Jessica piped in. "Oh wait! Maybe it's because you constantly talk back to your teachers and expect them to raise your grades just because you have connections with the principal. Or maybe it's because you come to class late and never bother to do your homework?"

Camila could only reply with a silent 'hmph' crossing her arms in the process, like that brat she really is.

"If you don't bring up your grades by the end of first semester, I'm going to have to sell that car'"

"WHAT!"

Diane casted her a cynical look. "You heard me."

Camila could only frown in response as she proceeded to walk out of the office fuming without a word.

Diane sighed and gently rubbed her temples.

What has gotten into that girl?
