I woke up as the sunlight came streaming in through the windows. I took me a minute or two to adjust my eyes to the light, but after that, I got up and headed for my wardrobe, which was on the other side of my bedroom.
It would take me a while to get used to my new surroundings.
After I chose a cute navy blue top, white pants and matching underwear, I headed for the shower.
Fifteen minutes later, I was out of the bathroom and fully dressed.
Checking the time on my phone, I estimated that I would have approximately 20 minutes left before I had to set off to school.I started applying some makeup, not too much, just a bit of mascara and eyeliner. I was so glad that I had natural waves and didn't need to curl my hair everyday.
I jumped, smudging mascara all over my face as George banged the door open and came marching into my room, not even apologizing for giving me the scare of my life."Um, you have something on your face, did you no that?"
He said, smirking at me."No...really?"I retorted looking crossly over at him.
"Well anyway, mum asked me to tell you that breakfast is ready and if you want your eggs warm, you should come down now"
"I just have to deal with my makeup situation, and then I will come downstairs. Could you tell her that for me?"
He just stared at me as if I was joking.
"No can do sis, I might deliver messages for mum occasionally, but I'm certainly not doing that for you. You'll have to tell her yourself"
I glared at him but he just smiled wickedly and walked out of my room.
Grumbling to myself, I sorted out my makeup and followed him down the stairs, taking two steps at a time, because I really didn't want my eggs to go cold.

"I'm gonna be late, I'm gonna be late!"I mumbled, while driving my car as fast as I could towards the school.
Ironic right?
Of course I would have to be late for my first day in my new school.
But luck was never on my side.Thankfully I arrived just before the bell went off, signaling that school had started.
I rushed past people, trying to squeeze my way past crowds of people, but as I mentioned before, luck was never on my side so I, of course, had to run into somebody.
I lay sprawled on the floor with the person I collieded with next to me.Suddenly everyone was quiet. The chattering of the crowd had stopped and I felt all eyes on me.
"What the hell? What's wrong with you?"
I looked up to see a girl getting to her feet and glaring down at me. She was very pretty and was also wearing something that made her look like a skank. I am not going to go into details right now. She obviously was the schools queen bee.
Three other girls where scrambling around, picking up everything she dropped. So those must be her loyal followers, or as I like to call them, servants."Im sorry" I mumbled, trying to stand up but tripping over my bag and falling back down again.
Everyone started laughing.
"Do you even know who I am?",
she sneered."No I don't, why, should I?", I snapped back, picking myself up off the floor for the second time.
The laughing died down instantly.
Her eyes narrowed and she gave me a murderous look. But I was not going to take this again. I will not be the pretty nerd like last time. I would not let people, especially like her, treat me this way.
"Well you should. My name is Crista and I don't like people talking to me in that way, newbie"
She whispered, taking a step closer to me."Well I said I'm sorry, and if that's not enough for you than I can't help you"
Her eyes widened in shock. I guess nobody ever stands up to her like that. She looked down at me, inspecting me.
What she took in didn't please her at all. Her expression darkend as her eyes found mine again. Before she could say anything to me I said: " I'm sorry to break up this discussion, but I need to go to the front desk to get my schedule"
"Watch your back, newbie" she growled, sounding more like a wolf that a bee.
I just smiled at her sweetly and pushed past her.
Great. Just great.
