Draya's Pov

Tears.

They just kept pouring. I couldn't believe this was happening. I hate life. Sometimes I just wish I was dead. Everything was going perfect. I was attending my dream college, I had the perfect boyfriend, and the perfect job until today.

***Flashback***

I walked up to Isaiah's dorm jolly asf. Today was me and Isaiah's 5 month anniversary. I got my keys out my bag. Yeah, I have me the key to his dorm. We have separate dorms but he shares a dorm with my one of my best friends. So they didn't mind giving it to me. I attempted to open the door but to my surprise, it was already open.

My heart fell.

I felt like I was going to die.

What was in front of me was why I had trust issues, why I never wanted a boyfriend, why I hate getting close to people.

Betrayal.

There was Sierra riding Isaiah. Everything was happening so fast. I closed the door before they could notice me.

I always knew Sierra low key wanted Isaiah. She would always flirt and storm off when I was around him. I didn't want to go back to my dorm. I was tired of everything. I just wanted to be gone.

***Flashback Over***

I strolled around the block just thinking about the events that just took place. "Why me? Was my life always going to be like this? How-" I thought until I was knocked down by some tall ass nigga. "Watch where you're going bitc-," His head lifted and he stopped his sentence.

Shiiitttt!

He better had.

"I'm sorry. I'm just not feeling it today. I'm Devonte," The tall smooth caramel skinned guy said introducing himself as he gave me a hand. I couldn't stop looking at him. "Hello?" He questioned waving his hand in my face. "Uh yeah, Im Andrea. Draya for short," I said looking up into his hazel eyes. He looked familiar.

"Well Draya, you are beautiful," he said smirking. I blushed and started cheesing hard, my deep dimples popped out.

"Thanks, where are you heading?" I asked.

"Oh uh I'm looking for room 235 B," he replied. My mouth dropped.

Oh shit!

I forgot I was getting a new roommate and guess who it was.

Him.

"So you're new here," I said smiling hiding the fact we share the same dorm.

"Yea, how'd you know?" He asked curiously.

"Well, we kinda share a dorm," I mumbled. Again, he smirked. He was better than my previous roommate though. She was ghetto, stupid and a hoe.

I couldn't stand her. She was constantly bringing boys and she a side chick.

Damn.

She prolly on her knees right now.

I led him towards the dorm.

"Thanks, I'll be back with my luggage," He said walking away.

I waited till I seen him turn the corner and pulled my gold iPhone 8 out and called one of my best friends. She was in my dance class and we also shared a dorm.

"HEY DRAY-DRAY!" Briyah yelled through the phone.

I laughed and whispered "Shhh! Not so loud. Guess what!"

"What?" She whispered desperately causing me to let out a slight giggle.

I knew she was thirsty for information.

"Okay, I will tell you a little bit now then tell you the rest later because it's a long story and I don't have enough time. But I just met this cute smooth caramel boy and must I tell you he is fine! The crazy part is, he's my new roommate. Oh my gosh, he's back I have to go!" I said rushing to hang up the phone.

I hope he ain't hear me. He waddled towards me with a bunch of luggages. His muscles were bulging.

I really need to stop.

He might just be another player trying to get attention maybe even laid.

I sighed.

I opened the door for him and we headed in.

"You need any help?" I asked.

"Nah, I got it. But thanks," He replied smiling.

He had the brightest smile, I like boys with white nice teeth! I got up and helped him anyway. After minutes of arguing, he agreed to just let me help. Hours passed and we finally finished unpacking.

We even had time to adjust the place, you see the dorm was more like an apartment. It had a living room, kitchen, and three bedrooms. It's basically an apartment there's just different buildings.

"Thanks," Devonte said looking in my eyes.

I looked down.

"You're welcome," I replied shyly.

He held my chin and lifted it so we were face to face. He reached in to kiss me.

I just met this guy and he already bugging out!

Knock Knock!

The person's knock was in a certain beat so I knew it was Briyah.

Saved by the knock.

"I'll go get it," I said rushing to the door. I opened the door and immediately hugged her in thanks.

"Damn! Why are you hugging me so hard, you just seen me this morning?" She asked laughing. I moved out the way so she could see.

He waved and she waved back.

"Oh, my fucking gosh! Draya isn't that Devonte Wright?! He is a professional college basketball player!" She whispered in amusement.

My eyes widened in recognition.

"Oh my gosh! I knew I recognized him. We have to go inside now if you don't want him to think anything's up," I said rushing her in. "Bria, Devonte. Devonte, Bria." I introduced. They talked for a while and got to know each-other.

We ordered pizza and watched Madea's Witness Protection. We got to know eachother a little more.

We watched some more movies and hours passed. I yawned.

I think it's time to sleep.

"Bria can I sleep in your room tonight, my room is still wet from the paint and it might take days for it to dry," I whined.

"Nope, I need the bed to myself today. I'm not tired and I want to watch some Netflix with zero distractions. You can just sleep with Vonte," She suggested skipping to her room.

I knew what the little bitch was getting at.

I'm going to beat her ass.

"Yeah, you can sleep in my room. You sleep on one side I sleep on the other," He said yawning.

I sighed and agreed.

I was not in the mood to argue.
