"There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment." ― Sarah Dessen

Devonte's Pov

"Wake up, we're home," I said attempting to wake her up. She didn't, she just went straight back to sleep. I sighed. I picked up her bag, slid it on my arm, and picked her up. Damn, shawty was heavy. Her thick ass. Once we were finally inside, I laid her down on the couch. I was tired.

Never again.

I put her bag beside the couch and headed to the kitchen.

I checked the time. It was 11:51. We must've slept for a long time. I headed to the kitchen and decided to make some brunch.

I brought out some eggs, pancake mix, and bacon. I decided to make breakfast for the both of us. Finally the pancakes and eggs were done. It was time to fry the bacon. I didn't want to do it on the stove so I just laid them in the toaster.

I walked to Bria room and then mine. Where was everyone? I'll just have Draya call 'em when she wakes up. I laid on my bed just thinking about the past few days. It ha-

I heard a cough "DEVONTE! Where are you? YOUR BURNING SOMETHING," I heard Draya yell. I started smelling smoke.

Oh yeah!

Crap!

I ran out of the room and pulled out the toaster plug and then opened some windows. Drea looked at me. Uh- Oh! She was going to kill me. She smacked the shit out of my head.

"Nigga! What was your peanut colada head ass doing in the kitchen, knowing you can't cook?! " She yelled.

"Sorry, I was trying to make you breakfast. We'll brunch. But yeah I had forgot about the bacon," I replied looking down in disappointment. Her eyes widened.

"Awww thankssss, but next time ask for help or else when I am done with you your going to be begging for it," She said laughing.

I started laughing with her. "No, I'm serious," She replied. Her phone rang.

I ain't the type of nigga thinking 'bout relationships

I-I-I be on that late night shit

They going cozy for the DJ when he play the shit

They be on that late night shit

One o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock, four

Five o'clock, six o'clock, you can hit your boy

If you ain't the type of bitch talking 'bout relationships

Hit me up, hit me up on that late night shit

"Hey Bri," She answered. "Yeah where are you?" She asked. "Alright I'll be there," She replied ending the call.

Drea's Pov

"Devonte can you take me to the mall, everyone else is there, besides you nearly burned down my kitchen," She asked. "Yeah, lets just get food at the mall. I don't feel like changing though. I still look fine—its just that I wore this yesterday—but let's just go," He agreed grabbing his keys.

He had the sexiest car. A hot blue 2014 Audi A6. "Can I drive pleaseeee?" I asked blinking my lashes. Devonte sighed "Don't! Mess up my baby," He grunted. I smirked and and skipped over to the driver's side and got in.

23 minutes past and we were heading into the mall's food court. "Hey guys," I greeted everyone. I got a sum of "Hey's" and "Sup's".

After a bit of talking and eating, I finally decided to get up and ask "Who wants to go with me to Sephora and then Juicy Couture?"
"Me," Bria replied.
I guess Aniya and Kiona were staying.
