I remember many things from that night.

The bright street lights.

The car.

The man

Even what him and I were wearing. Some things I don't remember are how I got there or how I got away. I can't remember the face of the stranger who saved me or the face of my attacker.

-

My eyes squint at the bright light and beeping coming from the machines hooked up to my arm. The smell of disinfectant and flowers mixed causes me to groan from the headache the aroma is giving me. All I can see is the silhouette of a woman with a clip board standing at the end of my hospital bed, she hasn't seemed to notice that I've woken up.

I cleared my throat causing her head to snap in my direction.

"Doctor! Come quick!" She yelled. "She's awake!"

The room be am flooded with doctors and nurses crowing around my bed with stethoscopes, pain killers, and that thing to measure your blood pressure.

"Becca how are you feeling?" A young female nurse asked me, the same one who was standing at the foot of my bed not too long ago.

"I'm fine. Do you know where my parents are?"

"We are having someone call them now. They left when visiting hours were over an hour ago." She informed me.

"But I've only been here for an hour?" I said confused.

The nurses and doctors all gave each other worried and confused looks before an older male doctor turned ir me to speak.

"Rebecca-"

"Becca, please." I interrupted.

"Becca, do you remember why you're here?" They questioned.

"I was-I was attacked in an alley on my way home from a party last night." I said shakily.

"Becca, it wasn't last night. You've been in a coma for 2 months."
