Chapter 5

"Hey let's get some coffee!" Steff dragged me to a cafe on the opposite side. "You just had your lunch Steff."
"Come on Em. One latte wouldn't hurt." "Oh Lord!" I was really tired walking around the entire mall with Stephanie, I love shopping but she is quite not my kinda shopper.

"Pheww... this is cozy " Stephanie said laying all her shopping bags on the chair nearby.
"I'll go order, what will you have?"she asked finding her purse in the huge bag she carried around for no reason because it is filled with junk. "I'll have a cold press, Please."
"Cools!"

"There you go, your cold press." Steff said as she gave me the coffee and sat down.

"So how's life?" I asked her as if I met her for the first time in weeks.
"Actually I wanted to talk to you about Noah"
I was pretty surprised, we never talked about the guys during our day outs. But I knew there was something important since she bought Noah into the conversation from no where.
"Noah? What about him." I felt a lump in my throat.
"Umm.. Actually Em..." I could see she was hesitant.
I pushed my coffee aside and held her hands. "Hey babe, you know you can tell me anything right?" She looked up at me, where her eyes met mine I could see the trust and faith she had in me, I smiled.

"I know Noah is you best friend or I should rather say brother" she said giggling but I understood she was trying to hide something serious beneath her smile, she held my hands tightly, "I'm not cririzing him and I.. i don't know whose fault it is ...umm..mm.. maybe I'm not a good girlfriend ... uhh.. I don't know... It's just that I love him ..so very much." She said , as her eyes teared up.

I do hate Stephanie for all the stupid fights she has with Noah, but I also do know that she does really love him and care about him.

I was stuck, I didn't know what was happening or why was I staring at her instead of replying, suddenly the conversation I had with Noah in the cafe started playing in my mind.

"Umm.." I cleared my throat, "why all of a sudden??? I mean.."
Stephanie sighs ,"umm.. It's just that .. I.. I ... have been ... I have this feeling that he kinda like .. likes someone else.." I was shocked. No Noah would never do such a thing, "WHAT? He us cheating on you."
"No No..nooo...oh god who do I put this, it's like i have this feeling he loves someone else..like so very much but maybe she didn't love him back or anything, he would never cheat on me but ...oh god ... I can't explain this."
I knew she was going to burst into tears any minute, I got up from my chair and hugged her tight. "We'll figure it out babes."
