Brendas 's POV.

Just a few days ago I had seen Jon. After such a long time I had finally seen him. The way I felt when I touched his hair had electricity shooting through my whole body. I know I shouldn't have felt this way since I'm with Aaron but I just couldn't help it.

Genesis started waving her hand in front of me. I looked around and studied my surroundings. I was at mine and Aaron's house.

"Sorry how long had I been thinking?" I asked.

"Quite a while. You'd been thinking a lot. What's wrong?"

I sighed. I should just tell her. I mean she's basically the only real friend I have at this point.

"About three years ago I ran away from my parents to be with my boyfriend at the time, Jason, and he took me to a hotel where he beat me." I winced at the thought of Jason and what'd he done to me. I continued. "Later I ran from Jason and bumped into a guy named Jon. He was in a band I was in love with. Later he says I should stay with him. And eventually one day I see my friend and cousin while out with Jon along with his band members Emery and Ricky." I continued my story and she listened to everything I said. I explained about when Jon was shot, Emery and LaSay having a baby, Karla and Ricky, Jon loosing his memory, every single thing.

"So how come you don't talk to them anymore?" She asked.

"We lost touch once Aaron and I moved here and started school."

"And your parents and brother?"

"My parents don't really care for me and my brother moved a long time ago and I haven't heard from him."

She didn't answer she just stayed silent.

"Dye my hair?" I asked her breaking the silence.

"What color?"

I thought for a few seconds.

"Blue." I finally answered.

"Alright lets get you all ready for your new hair color.!"

We both got up and went to my salon to get my hair done. It was Sunday so were closed. We got all of the supplies we needed and she started dying it. About an hour later she removed the towel from my head revealing my blue hair.

"AHH!! Thanks Genesis!!! I love it!!" I smiled.

"Aww you welcome.! Glad you liked it.!" She smiled making her small dimple visible.

"Well... What should we do now?" I asked.

"Could you curl my hair? I just really like how you curl it." She answered twirling her hair around.

"Alright get me my flat iron and I'll get started." I use a flat iron since its easier for me to use than a curling iron.

After about thirty minutes I was finished.

"We should go out somewhere." She says I complete the last curl.

"Where?" I ask as I loosen it and apply hair spray.

"The mall where we work we can just walk around do whatever."

"Alright. But hey first I need to go pay the bills Aaron gave me some money to pay for it I have the rest so yeah." I turned off my flat iron.
