Shini and Aggie looked torn toward the door but Satomi shook her head looking at the door, Kanade needed to deal by herself without them softening it. That's the way love is, Satomi thought.
"Ok. Let's make sure the instruments are tuned and let's practice." Satomi ordered every still in the room which was everyone minus Kanade and Hotaru.
"But she-" Takumi turned from the door and met Satomi's eyes, his voice cutting off. He could tell how much it was hurting her not to go after her little sister when she was like that, he could see it in her eyes but he also understood how she needed to let Kanade experience things on her own.
"Ok, come on guys. I'll sing Kanade's part for now." Satomi said.
They all practiced with time flying by quicker than normal, mostly because everyone's mind was elsewhere. It wasn't until Kanade came back that everyone finally got lively. And Kanade was the most lively. She could still feel the pain but now it was manageable and easier to work around.
"Ugh. Can we rest." Kanade cried from the mic.
"No the concert is less than 2 hours away. We still need-"
"A break." Satomi cut off Elliot with a smile that held a threat.
He panic as the girls and guys split leaving the room.
"You guys we can't just-" he cried panicked.
"Calm down." Satomi said placing a kiss on Elliot's cheek. "You know we'll be perfect."
She giggled following the girls leaving a petrified Elliot standing there. Her eyes directed ahead and she saw Kanade a little down the hall. She was bouncing and laughing with her arms linked through Tama's and Hotaru's while Takumi and Mochi hung onto her every word. Satomi looked on for a bit before some unknown feeling had her turning and walking away, she had to be clear minded for tonight. The shows were back to back which basically made it just made it one really long show. With 2 audiences. She couldn't afford to not be on her best game.
"Ahhhah! Ahahaaa!"
Satomi looked up quickly as a beautiful sound filled the halls around forcing her to stop and look up. Somehow she had made it to the stage and now stared up as a boy no older than her warmed up into the mic. His voice was an angelic mix of bass and baritone that caught her breath. And looking at him she noticed he was just as angelic. His black hair fell to about the bottom of his ears with shorter strands falling in his face, a face that was beautiful. His eyes were strange though, they were blue and green. Literally, the colors swirled around each other but didn't seem to truly blend making them hypnotic. Satomi noticed to late that she was staring at him and he seemed to be staring back. She watched him walk off the stage the light catching his numerous earrings in each ear.
"It's rude to stare." He commented arrogantly as he got closer.
Her eyes narrowed as he seemed to be about to walk past her. She step in his path smoothly.
"No ruder than insulting someone without a proper introduction." She retorted.
He looked her over then smirked. "Kazumi. And your Satomi right? Now if you'll excuse me." He said stepping around her.
"Your excused." She said before walking onto the large stage and looking around. Hopefully the thrill of the concert tonight would calm her mind. She was seeming overly emotional today.
