Wow! This place is beautiful! I could sit here for hours, just taking in the view- wait... my hand is touching Ivan's! FUCK! DON'T DO ANYTHING EMBARRASSING, MAN... KEEP IT TOGETHER!

He looks at me, and I look at him, both of us pulling our hands away while blushing a little. Yet, I can't help but to stare into Ivan's eyes... they are such a lovely shade of purple, it's almost enchanting. It feels like he can stare into my soul...

"Erm... sorry about that..." He stutters, breaking the silence.

"Uh... Y-you don't need to apologize, bro!" I stutter, chuckling nervously.

I feel like I can cut the tension with a knife... And I wouldn't be surprised if Ivan felt like that too. I look over at him, and I see him taking a swig out of a vodka bottle.

"Are you sure it's safe to be drinking right before a meeting?" I ask.

"Don't worry, Alfred. I do this all the time. It helps me calm the nerves." He reassures.

"Oh, umm... ok then..." I say, not knowing what to talk about now. So, we sit in peaceful silence, enjoying the beautiful sights.

This place is really cold though... How does Ivan deal with this? I shiver, and wrap my arms around myself.

Ivan notices me, and takes off his scarf and puts it on me... His neck has some faded scars... they look pretty badass, but I feel bad for him... I can't help but to feel that I led to some of them during The Cold War.

"Can you stops staring at them, please?" He asks, sheepishly.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!! I'm just... I mean... I'm..." I get cut off by Ivan putting a finger on my lips.

"It's fine, don'ts apologize." The Russian says, I still can't stop loving that thick accent...

He fixes the scarf, trying to make it as warm and comfortable as possible for me. What a great friend.

I don't realize why I ever went to war with him... He's so sweet and kind.

I wish he was more than just a friend... I'm falling in love even more... I didn't even know that was possible.
