MYSTIC FOOL (POETRY SEQUEL)

As I was driving through the mystic road

I imagined what would it be like if he's here

To breathe freely whenever he's near

To be easy because I have no fear

Of Course he's not here, he will never be here

But we'll see each other soon, you see?

For I will go back to the cliff where he confessed his love for me

To the cliff where hope fades and tragic is as bitter as a black coffee

I reached the place and climbed to the stairwell of heaven

For thy love is waiting for me again

Then my heart was beating faster than I could ever imagine

And the wind was slowly dancing, prancing for a man that was standing

It was him, wasn't he?

My steps got closer to the man at the edge of the cliff

I touched his shoulder then the body became stiff

Sparks rushed through my fingertips then turning his back, it was another man I see

"Who are you?" He asked me

I was confused with the face bound before thee

His eyes were piercing right through my very soul

Then suddenly, I was caught up in a trance of my own

The photograph of me and my love that I was holding suddenly flew

Dancing into the air like a spell was casted through

Wide Awake I now reached for the thing

The only surviving thing my love has left for me

On the edge of the cliff I felt two hands grabbed my waist

Before I fall deep down the raging waves of the sea, the photograph disappeared through the haze

Close enough for me to be with you

But there was no chance as my wish never came true

So I sobbed into the arms of the man that saved my life

"Why did it have to be you!" I cried and I cried a hundred of times

"Hush my dear, I'm with you."

I stopped as my heart beat again became faster too

I am with a stranger which of course I never knew

Then I said sorry and freed his arms that was locked with me

"No, don't be" He said like his words were so true

He wiped my face, a face of a fool

"Why do you have to leave me, my dear?" I said to myself

"You know a stupid ring wouldn't do"

As I stare at the moon a voice whispered through the wind

"Don't take your life, take my love and don't die."
