Chapter 5

Annie's POV

I sat outside Principal Williams office with Riley, Dylan, Carson and Johnny for what felt like ages. eventually Hayden and Brennan walked out with their heads down. I ran up to Hayden and gave him a hug

Annie: 'Hayden! I was so worried!'

He hugged me while keeping his head down...its like he didn't want me to see his face so I pulled away from the hug and pushed his head up from his chin and looked at his face in disbelief.

Annie: 'Hayden Oh my god! What happened to your face!'

Hayden: 'Annie it's okay it's just some brusies.'

Annie: 'You have a black eye and a scratch on your cheek! Did he do this to you?'

I said motioning to Brennan

Brennan: 'Yea I did!' 

Annie: 'Brennan how could you!'

Brennan: 'What do you mean you're supposed to be my girlfriend!'

Annie: 'Well it doesn't matter because i'm breaking up with you!'

Brennan: 'Whatever!'

I gave Hayden another big hug then Carson and Johnny started talking to him

Carson: 'Hey man nice punch you totally won that fight like did you see his face afterwards!'

its true Hayden did have a black eye and some scratches but Brennan had a black eye, a busted lip and scratches everywhere fom the punches.

Johnny: 'Hayden you totally owned him man!'

Hayden: 'Hey guys calm down it was just a fight he was hurting Annie and I couldn't let him get away with that'

I hugged him and just smiled. Then as I let go of Hayden all these girls came running up to him...they were all over him and it hurt so much...

Kenzie: 'Everyone move!'

everyone created a pathway for kenzie to get through to Hayden 

Kenzie: 'Hey Hayd's great fight today!'

She winked at him and he just smiled

Hayden: 'I actually have a class to get to Kenz see you around.'

He kissed her on the cheek and walked away as girls just stared at him. I really liked Hayden but I was pretty sure it wouldn't ever happen.

Hayden: 'But before I go....I need to do something.'

I stood there wondering what that thing was...Hayden started walking towards me and before I knew it he grabbed me by my waist and smashed his lips into mine. I kissed back and it was like time stopped....I loved Hayden Summerall so much. He pulled away and smiled at me....He then left to go to class with Carson and Johnny cheering him on as the three of them walk away. I stood there smiling and saw Kenzie glaring at me oh well thats kenzie for you. Me, Riley and Dylan walked to 2nd period together.

Dylan: 'I can't believe he kissed you!'

Riley: 'I know I ship it somuch! But why would he just kiss you so causally? It was like its no big deal!'

Annie: 'Come on guys!'

Dylan: 'Oh my god has it happened before?'

Annie: 'Noooooo.'

Riley: 'Oh my god! It totally has! When did you guys have you first makeout?!'

Annie: 'Yesterday night I went to his house after reading his post and I....I kissed him.'
