Thirty-five

Regina's POV
Merlin is out and I'm really hoping that everything goes well I can't loose Emma to the darkness. I won't! I think I want to tell Emma about my pregnancy but I'm still so scared she's gonna leave me. This is a lot to deal with right now. She's fighting the darkness and then she has to worry about me and the baby and make sure I don't overdo it and end up hurting the baby. I need Emma and my kids need her too so I won't let the darkness take her. It just can't!

"I can hear your thoughts" Emma says.

"You can" I ask fearful.

"Your stressing about everything but there's something else I can't pin that's making you even more stressed and it's not good for you babe"

"I can't help but stress Emma, your the dark one for God's sake" I sit up and Emma sits up against the backboard. I turn and face her crossing my legs. "That's not the only reason" she says squinting her eyes at me.

"No that's all" I look away and Emma grabs my face making me look at her.

"Tell me now Regina"

"Emma everything's fine"

"Since when do we keep secrets for each other"

"Emma, I—I'm pregnant" her mouth goes wide and I look at her scared of her next move. She stand up and starts pacing and runs her hands through her blonde curly locks.

"So when were you going to tell me this" she asks. I put my head down ashamed. "When the baby was born" her voice raises with anger and I bite my lip.

"Are you serious Regina" I don't even have to look at her; her voice is raising as her anger escalates.

"I'm sorry"

"Sorry doesn't cut it Regina! I'm in this too you don't get to keep secrets from me!"

"There's been so much going on Emma! I didn't want t stress you about this baby! It's what's best right now!"

"So now you get to choose what's best for me!"

"No I'm not say that!" I yell angry.

"Whatever" she poofs on clothes and leaves the room.

Emma's POV
I know I kind of freaked out at Regina but this is my baby too and I'm happy and I don't understand where she thought she could choose what's best for me. This is my life damnit! And it's already stressful enough being the dark one and being tempted by his magic I just can't take this! I walk into the study where everyone is sitting and I'm guessing they heard some of the yelling. They are pretty far but these walls aren't too thick. I sigh and close the door. Everyone stares at me and I can't take it. "What" I snap. "What's going on Emma" my mom asks. "Nothing" I mumble opening books. Regina walks in and avoids eye contact with everyone. "Mama can we go with Henwy" asks Millie. I pick her up and kiss her cheek attempting to put a smile on my face. "I'll take them" I say not even talking to Regina. I grab pipers hand and walk out.

Regina's POV
I sigh and close my eyes for a brief second before looking up at everyone who's staring with confused eyes. "What happened Regina" Snow asks standing up. "I told her and she didn't take it too well" I say trying not to over share because Emma will yell at me for that. I look at Snow and she sighs. "Told her what" Zelena asks butting in. "I'm pregnant" I say almost whispering it. "How far along are you" granny asks. "Six weeks" the door opens and Emma walks in looking pissed off. "Six weeks" her voice is telling me she's even angrier now.

"Emma" she cuts me off with her hands.

"Don't say another word" she voice is so cold it's scaring me. Then I'm going on a cloud of white smoke and we are back in our room. Oh no! "Emma please let me explain!"

"Explain what how your a fucking liar and how your hiding things from me!"

"Em" she cuts me off screaming.

"I don't wanna hear the bullshit Regina! I'm done! I'm so fucking mad right now! And I'm done!"

"Emma please" I cry.

"NO!" I jump at her voice.

"I want nothing to do with you" I grab Emma's arm and she yanks her arm and walks away. I cover my mouth as I sob. She just broke up with me?!

Once I get all cleaned up and I dry my face and use magic to reapply my makeup so I don't look like I've just cried for 5 minutes straight. I walk in the room and I avoid looking up at Emma and I sit down next to Zelena. "What" she asks looking at me. I look at Emma and
she gives me a look like she wants to talk. "Regina" I look away trying not to cry.

"Regina" I stand up and walk outside Emma puts her hand on my back and I pull it sways "don't touch me" she looks at me confused and I grab her arm going back to the place where she broke up with me. "What you want" I ask angry. "Baby what's wrong" she says grabbing my hand I pull away.

"You just broke up with me and don't call me baby"

"I would never do that Gina"

"Don't lie to me, you just broke my heart"

"Why would I do that"

"Emma it was you I'm not dumb"

"I swear on my life Regina that's wasn't me, I've been with Merlin and he's been teaching me I woke up early and left, Regina what's going on"

"Then who was in my bed this morning" I ask afraid. "I don't know but I promise you I was with Merlin" I nod she's sincere I can tell. She's not lying so why was in my bed. "Why did they make fake me break up with you" Emma asks. I take a deep breath "uh I'm pregnant" Emma's eyes fill with tears and she grabs both my hands. "Your serious" I nod and she grabs my face kissing me. I kiss her back wanting to feel loved and cared for after this hell of a day. "I love you and I will never leave you"
