Chapter 2

***ALEXA POV***

I walk inside and my parents are sitting at the table.

"Hi umm why is the moving truck already here?" I ask because they're not supposed to be here until tomorrow.

"Look Lex, there on their way here. The truck came early and so did they!" my mom replied with enthusiasm.

"Also Lex, they have a son name Hayes who is your age. Then an older son named Nash who's 16 and then a younger sister named Skylynn who's 5." My dad adds.

The doorbell rings and I run up to my room. I hear "Hi I'm ____ " and also I hear my dad call me down. "ALEXA COME DOWN! THE GRIERS ARE HERE!" I quickly brush my hair and walk down stairs. "hi" I say.

*** HAYES POV***

I walk into the gorgeous home and meet everyone.

" Hi I'm hayes" I say to mr and mrs. Pinschino.

"Hello hayes. Please call me Kathy! And this is my husband named Joe."

"Nice to meet you." joe says.

Alexa walks down the stairs and says "Hi."

I turn around and I see a tall blackish brownish haired girl with brown eyes that sparkle. Her long hair is perfectly parted on the left with a twist to the right.

"Hey I'm hayes" As I say as I walk up to her.

"Hi I'm Alexa" as she says while batting her long eyelashes.

"Well wanna see your new room? and also today I hear that one of your 'requests' is for me to show you around? now all of a sudden every girl wants to be my friend so they can meet u." she says

"Sure I would like that and yeah I figured since were in the same residence it would be better for us to get to know each other." I responded sounding like an idiot. At least she laughed.

***ALEXAS POV***

"Let's go get the boxes. I'll help you move in." I ask as we walk out the door. I have got to admit this kid is pretty hot but I bet he's taken. His black shaggy hair and his big blue eyes are to die for. And his southern accent is adorable. This is a great time to show him my strength.

I grab 4 boxes while he grabs 2.

"Wow someone's strong." Hayes says after I out down the boxes in his room.

"That's what happens when you play softball and cheerleading for 8 years."

"So I'm guessing we can get along great." hayes says nervously.

"Yup. Let's finish quick so I can show you around town. Maybe even meet some people."

"Yeah I would like that. I'm kind of nervous for school tomorrow. I'll be that kid who eats alone at the lunch tables." He says while hanging his LAX sticks above his bed.

"Hayes are you kidding me? you can sit with me and my friends. The guys in our group will like you."

"But I wouldn't want your boyfriend getting jealous and thinking things."

"What boyfriend? I'm single." I giggle.

"Shocker" Hayes mumbles. I laugh.

"Well wanna walk downtown? Its five and we can have dinner down there."

"I would like that but just please don't get annoyed. Fans find me."

"Hayes I don't get annoyed that easily. I'll be in my room. come in when ur done setting up."

I walk into my room which is right next to his. We have to share a connecting bathroom. His room used to be my hang out room.Anyway, I walk over to my vanity fix up my hair and makeup and then I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in!"

"Hey its me. are you ready?"

"yeah let's go."

I grab $50, my phone, charger, and my bag and walk out the door.

"Mom, Dad, Elizabeth, and john were going downtown to show hayes around. Nash do you want to come?"

"No thanks sista" Nash says sassy.

we laugh and walk downtown.
