"Mission debrief in the lounge!" came a shout. Besides Coulson and I, there were only two other agents on board. A pilot, who never told me her name, and Agent Grant Ward. I never cared much for him. He was a special-ops agent who was super buff and an all out asshole. Well, to me anyways. Everyone else loved him. But he lies, he's been lying, ever since the day he arrived at S.H.I.E.L.D. I don't know what he lies about, I can just sense it, like a dog....or something. Not to mention his S.O. was Agent Garrett, another person I didn't care for. I'm convinced he's involved with Hydra, but like Ward, everyone else loves him.

I made my way to the center of plane and sat in the little debriefing area. Coulson walked in, but Ward was no where to be found. This was also his first field mission, and so far, he wasn't doing too well.

"We don't need him for the debrief anyways. This is your own mission", Coulson whispered. "We have heard reports of a "son of lighting" in Berkeley, California. I think you know what this means?"

"That Thor had a mortal son?"

"Most likely.."

"How do we know it's not Jason Grace?"

"Who is Jason Gra--"

"From the Heroes of Olympus series? Camp Jupiter is in the Caldecott tunnel after all."

"It's not, OK? Now, when Mei brings us down, you go to wherever Fitz and Simmons tell you to go, OK?"

"Alright."

I shrugged on my bulletproof vest and grabbed a pistol and flashlight. Checking to see if anyone was looking, I slipped on a tiny ring Jemma had given me. Apparently it helps reduce the current of elictricity in the event of a shock. Funny, she gave me it three years ago...

"Ready?" Coulson asked. I nodded, thinking that he was just about as nervous as I was. He was fidgeting with his tie and absentmindely wiping a smudge off of his car, Lola. He handed me the ear piece that linked me back to the Hub. I turned it on and nearly fell over from the noise.

"Come on Jemma! She'll be fine! We need to keep calm so she doesn't get worked up!" came Fitz's muffled Scottish lilt.

"Oh, but what if he hurts her! We don't know what this guy is capable of!" Jemma shouted back.

"All right, Hermione, let's just get on with the mission", I said, rolling my eyes.
