Chapter 4 Escape Plan

[LOCATION: LOS ANGELES, POOLHOUSE] [(NAME)'S POV]

After our boss snitched on us, Dante and I were packing our things and proceeded to start to escape plan code 'B'. Something me and him came up with ever since our time in Iraq together.  I grabbed my vest and my FN Scar and proceeded to put on my mask as I walked towards Dante handing over his HK416 with scope, handlebar and laser sight. 

As I walked towards Dante I noticed he was rapidly typing on his keyboards with his eyes deadlock on the screen. He already got his gear on and his bag on his back but his mask was still off and placed on the desktop next to his keyboard.

"Dude, let's go," I told as I handed over his gun. "SWATs are going to raid this place in five minutes."

"Just wait," He told me, still focusing on the monitor in front of him. "I'm setting up an EMP burst. So we can have time to escape."

After typing on his keyboard a timer was seen on the screen. We have only thirty minutes before we can escape the Poolhouse. Dante got off and walked right beside me, grabbed his gun off of my hand and told me something I never thought I could hear.

"(Name)," His voice was cold and serious. "How's your scare gas working out?"

A grin grew wide in my face behind my mask as I heard this. I never thought Dante would allow me to use such weapon. Welp, drastic times calls in a drastic measure.

[Rainbow Team Facility]

Everyone was looking on the screen with Alpha and Six as well lock on it. Six pulled out her phone and placed the call into a speaker.

"Are you there yet?" Six said with a smirk on her lips.

"Yes, Ma'am," A male voice, somewhere in his early thirties said in the other line. "The LA police department, Sheriff department, FBI agents, and SWAT team are heading their way."

"Good," Six told. She then faced the team which have a confused expression all on their faces. "You shall see how strong is this army of two are."

They all look at the screen which showed a security footage inside the Poolhouse. Everyone witnessed as Dante whispered something in (Name)'s ear and he nodded in return. Dante then noticed the security camera hidden between the walls on the corner and shot it with his assault rifle.

"There goes the witnessing."Buck quipped as he smirks.

Six simply rolled her eyes and change screening to another security footage showing the outside the poolhouse's entrance which was surrounded by a heavily armed SWAT team, officers and agents. The footage then changes to a GoPro on one of the SWATs that were breaching. The SWAT team breached through the front entrance with a battering ram. As they stormed in they noticed the room was in complete darkness except the lighted monitor of the PC and the open backdoors entrance.

"Shit, they went out from the back door! Men, I want you-" The leader of the team wasn't able to finish his sentence as he noticed the doors quickly shut close with a lock sound coming from them. "What the fu-"

He wasn't able to finish his sentence again, as gas leaked out from the ventilation system. Soon the entire house was filled with some sort of yellow gas now hiding the floor and making it hard for them to see. Their vision soon becomes less clear and dizzier, like getting wasted after drinking ten bottles of Vodka. And then it was seen. Large gruesome and ugly creatures were seen inside the room. Wearing nothing but black and holding gun-like weapons.

"AAAAAHHH!!!" The SWAT yelled in fear as he saw five of this creature looking straight at him. The man opened fire and so did the others but he also noticed they were as well opening fire at themselves and each other with him included. Ten bullets pierced through his chest and one pierces right through his neck, it damages his lungs, heart, and rib cage. The man dropped down on his knees and dropped dead on the ground.

Team Rainbow witnessed as a SWAT team went and kill each other after the gas flooded the room. Before they have time to react one of the operators, Tachanka, burst through the doors.

"Ms Six, New operators are here," He told then noticed the video in front of him. "Is team watching a movie?"

[POOLHOUSE]

Grim and Grin and was sprinting across the street without being spotted by the ongoing police search. They both stopped behind a black Prius which was hidden in an alleyway. Dante and (Name) were tossing their gear inside the trunk of the car.

"Come on we got to get out of here," Dante informed (Name) as he was removing his tactical vest and mask. "We only  we have fifteen minutes left." Dante then proceeded to seat beside the driver seat. 

(Name) finished placing his gear inside the trunk and made his way to the driver seat. He sat down and started the car and zoom out of the alleyway and into the road.  As they making their way into the alleyway they noticed the police cruiser and SWAT armoured truck chasing behind them. 

"Keep the car steady!" Dante yelled as he opened his window and sit on the side of the car door. He aimed his assault rifle at the police cars and fired straight at them. Dante managed to shoot one of the front wheels of the vehicle and soon the vehicle smashed itself to another and crashed into a light pole. 

Inside the pool house, the EMP finally burst to send a large shockwave around the poolhouse any building near it. Meanwhile, with Dante and (Name) there were being pushed away from the road leading to the highway. Suddenly the police cruisers suddenly stopped with the SWAT van included, some of the vehicles crashed into a nearby light post while others into buildings. Leaving the two contractors speeding into freedom. 

"Fuck yeah!" (Name) cheered with a large grin on his face.  "Dante when we get out, drinks are on m-"

(Name) wasn't able to finish his sentence when a SWAT van slammed itself into the side of the Prius. Dante and (Name)'s flew out of the ground and into the side of a building. The vehicle was upside down and (Name) crawled himself out of there. He was standing beside the crashed vehicle with an aching, bloody head, leaking from the side. And a broken arm which he gripped with his other hand. He looks back to the vehicle to see Dante still inside unconscious and was hanging upside down with blood dripping up his face. Before he can help his injured and out cold friend, the sirens of speeding police cruisers were heard in the corner of his ears. As he turned around and noticed the LAPD police vehicles were now surrounding him.

"Hands in the air!" One of the cops got out of his vehicle and aimed his gun at him. "I said hands in the air!"

(Name) didn't follow as he noticed his vision was getting blurry and his balance was off. (Name) then dropped down to his knees and fall flat on the floor, unconscious with the lights and the sounds of LAPD cruisers sirens bursting around him.
